Ever since the attack from reverse flash, Ethan has been worried and stressed as hell, he couldn't sleep thinking of what could have gone wrong.

"I can't stay like this forever" Ethan decided.

He activated the omnitrix and transformed into his Galvan form. He jumped in front of his mirror and touched the omnitrix on his back as he started fiddling with it, after 15 minutes he transformed back into his human form.

"I hope this worked" Ethan wondered until he heard a voice from the omnitrix.

"User has been recognized, connected to user online, scan function online, safety protocol is online, voice command is offline, master control is offline, connection to primus is online, universal translator is online, transformation period as been extended by 10 minutes, recharge time as been reduced by one minute, ...recalibrating"

Ethan looked at the device on his wrist as the dial turned blue.

"Ethan you home?"

He heard someone call out to him. "Yh I'm in my room" he replied.

His door opened as Barry walked in with a concerned and worried look on his face.

"Look about last night, sorry for getting you involved in all that" Barry apologized

" No need to apologize it's not like he was specifically after you, maybe he was just trying to lure out the flash" Ethan said as he looked at Barry to get his reaction and Barry wasn't really good at hiding it as he flinched at the sentence.

"...yh I guess so, how are you? Hope you didn't get hurt from the attack"

" No I didn't, just a little bruised" Ethan replied.

" Ok that's good, anyways I need to get to work. Catch you later" Barry said as he left the room.

Ethan looked back at his wrist, the omnitrix was still blue. "I still need to get access to the master control, I need to get stronger" he thought.

Meanwhile in the time vortex.

"Gideon, has there been any changes to the timeline?"

" No significant changes has been made to the timeline" The AI replied

" Good".

.....

" Barry we've got multiple armed men in the central city bank, about 7 men with hostages" Cisco said to Barry on the coms.

" On it" Barry replied as he ran to the bank donning his scarlet suit.

But getting there he saw something he had never seen in his life, before him stood a creature which looked like a velociraptor with a visor covering it's face, it's body black, green and white with an omnitrix on his chest, having a white wheel between his two toes.

"Uhm guys, you wouldn't believe what I'm seeing right in front of me" Barry said on his com.

" What's it Barry" Dr Harrison who just joined the rest of the team on the computer asked Barry over the com.

"Uhm there's some kind of creature right here in the bank, one I've never seen before" he replied.

On seeing the flash in front of him the creature took off. "He just ran off, I'm going after it" Barry said on the com.

" No Barry we don't know what we're dealing with" Dr Harrison said through the com but Barry didn't listen.

But no matter how fast Barry went he couldn't catch up with the creature making him come to a sudden stop and run back to STAR Labs.

"Barry what about the creature" Cisco asked on seeing Barry back with the others looking at him for answers too.

"I lost him, he was too fast for me, faster than anything I've ever seen" he replied. Which made all of them surprised especially Dr Wells.

"So are you saying it's even faster than the reverse flash?" Caitlin asked to which Barry simply nodded.

"We don't know the creatures identity or it's purpose here in central city but it did stop the robbery in the bank" Barry said to which Caitlin nodded but Cisco was busy thinking of what name to dub this new speedster.

"Well Mr Allen I'll suggest you try your best to avoid this unidentified creature. We don't know what will happen if you encounter it again" Dr Wells said to which Barry nodded.

The unknown speedster which got team flash biting their toes arrived at an abandoned warehouse and changed back to Ethan,

"Wow who would have thought I'd better way faster than the flash in my kineceleran form, maybe it might have been because of the upgrade I got" he said as he looked at his wrist.

FLASHBACK

Ethan was shopping for some laptops as he planned on developing some games and apps that weren't in this universe, he was scrambling his brain for what to do until he remembered what all other characters from the novels he read in his old world did on transfer. Like it was a very common trope.

But as he was going through the devices he heard gunshots coming from across the street where the central city bank stood and realized it was probably a robbery but looking at his watch he noticed it was still in blue, but he ignored it and left the store towards and alley as the omnitrix finally calibrated on cue.

'finally, I suspected it was about time' he thought, it became a little bulky looking like a gauntlet but smaller than the ultimatrix.

"Evolutionary function online, 10,000 new alien DNA has been unlocked, voice command unlock, transformation period extended to 1 hour" the omnitrix announced which got Ethan really excited but bummed that he didn't get the master control. "Guess I'll have to work for that but that aside.. it's hero time" he said as he slammed the omnitrix transforming into the iconic XLR8 from the Ben 10 franchise but had a more distinct look {all images are in the comment sections}

With that he sped into the bank knocking out all the robbers and freeing every hostage from their bond but as he was about leaving the flash arrived staring at him in shock before saying something into his com.

But XLR8 didn't wait anymore as he ran off but the flash was chasing after him, not wanting to be confronted by the flash he increased his speed finally shaking him off.

Ethan was really excited with the new development and finally fulfilling the dream of many fans who wondered what would happen if thee flash and XLR8 raced but he wasn't really satisfied as Barry was as fast as his future counterparts. "Well I guess I'll have another race with him when he's gotten faster. Ethan said as he opened the laptop which he bought after stopping the robbery.

"Time to do some little upgrades" he said before transforming into upgrade.
