To highlight her identity, Hailey specifically dressed in expensive clothing so Zane would realize Lana's status and knowingly retreat.

Zane thought about the man that had followed them yesterday, so, as soon as he saw Hailey, he immediately realized​ her intent.

"Please sit, Mr. Mo," Hailey said as she pointed to a chair with her chin. She then removed her sunglasses and placed them on the table in front of them. "My name is Hailey, I am Lana's older sister."

"Hello, Miss Qian," Zane said as he sat down.

"I've asked to see you here because I noticed you've been getting really close to my sister lately. May I ask how far the two of you have progressed?"

"That...seems to be my private matter," Zane replied with a smirk that was neither friendly nor hostile.
