30-year Contract

When Shirley saw that Lila got a new assistant, she was both stunned and broken-hearted.

Her mission to take care of Bentley was supposed to end once he started filming. So, she originally expected to return to Lila's side. But, who would have thought, Lila would end up getting a new assistant.

It was reasonable though. After all, she was meant to be a temporary assistant from the start. So, how could she dream of remaining by Lila's side.

"What are you daydreaming about?" Bentley asked as he watched Shirley walk ahead.

"Lila got a new assistant. So, I think it's time I retreat," Shirley replied as she turned to look at Bentley. Her expression swept over with disappointment.
