Two Steps
Outside the tent, was far more chaotic than the inside, but not in the manner that Mei Deng expected.
"Protect the women and children! Round them up together!" A soldier's voice cried out, charging the men with shields into action.
On his command, they rushed into the tents where the servants where, and before they could he harmed, the soldiers attacked the invaders, who were lacking in combat skills.
As Mei Deng navigated through the commotion, it wasn't hard to see that these men had the element of surprise to their advantage. But, that quickly waned, due to the level of skill the soldiers possessed.
"Hang on a little longer! We're almost to safety." Yu Xiaoguang whispered softly to the General's hearing, walking towards the one who looked to be in charge, issuing out the orders.
A couple of stray arrows were directed towards them, but Mei Deng had good fighting instincts and could dodge a majority of them.
