REFINED RASCAL AND A BRAINLESS GIRLFRIEND

Kim said, quickly detaching himself from Claire. She was the last person he expected here.

Raelle only blinked at him.

Her vision was becoming blurry and her eyes were starting to brim with tears.

Claire's arms wrapped around Kim's as she stood beside him. On her face was a mocking smile as she said, "Sweetheart, are you scared of her?"

"No my love. I was just surprised that she was stupid enough to come here." Kim replied, draping his arm around Claire's small shoulder.

Full of disdain, his eyes took a glance at Raelle who stood frozen on the spot.

Claire was pleased by his response and the smile on her face widened instantly. "Sis, it's good you're here. Now, we don't have to hide it anymore"

Sis? Was Claire going nuts?

There was a certain mirth in Claire's voice as she spoke. Something that could make someone pissed off badly.

Kim chuckled and cast a meaningful glance at Claire.

"Yes," he said, leaning in to kiss Claire, he added, "We were planning on telling you but..." he paused and smiled widely, "You've found out."

Raelle: "...."

Standing right by the door, she was starting to lose her composure. Compelling herself to control, they're not worth it, Raelle forced a smile. Boldly taking a step forward, she tried to steady her shaking body.

"I'm so happy for you two." She paused, folding her hands over her chest before continuing "I mean, you two look good together. It's just a pity that you both are senseless and stupid. Tch Tch Tch, how sad."

Turning to face Claire whose eyes were wide like saucers directly, she smirked. No matter how she looked at it, her sister was stupid. If Kim could ditch her for Claire, what then would make keep him from ditching Claire for someone else?

If it wasn't that she was her step-sister, then heaven only knows what she'd have done to her. Right here, right now.

"I always knew you were good at acting. It's just a pity that you'd NEVER be accepted into the entertainment industry" Raelle scoffed, deliberately stressing the word 'never' to rile up Claire. And it was working.

Claire's large eyes were already shooting invisible daggers at her sister. "How dare you!"

"I'm not done!" Raelle whispered sternly. Her voice was cold and sounded dangerous.

Claire shivered and kept quiet on seeing the look in Raelle's hazel eyes.

The look in her eyes had changed, it was no more the frail look that Claire knew; it was replaced by something different, something.... dangerous.

Or was she the one who was--

"When I speak, you listen!" Raelle said in a commanding tone. She turned to face Kim who was standing there like a pillar of salt.

He looked pale. Well, he had to...

Raelle was suddenly giving off a dangerous aura. She may not have noticed it, but since she started speaking, the temperature in the room had dropped rapidly.

"Well, Mr. Davis, what do I say to you?" Kim heard her say. His eyes immediately flew to her face, but he couldn't look into her eyes.

Her gaze was scorching; he could feel it burning holes in him even as his eyes were glued to the marble floor.

Raelle clapped her hands before she continued to speak.

"What a wonderful couple?" She said mockingly, pausing to smile widely before continuing. "A refined rascal and a brainless girlfriend... You are nothing but a refined rascal Kim."

Raelle's words were uncensored but she couldn't care less. Since they decided to hurt her, she would just hurt them even more.

"You and your brainless girlfriend here thought I wouldn't get married to anyone but you, right?" She waved the red cover booklet in his face as she asked.

Kim was shocked to see the red booklet. He was very much aware that what was in her hand was nothing less than a certificate of marriage.

But who did she marry?

Kim believed that by leaving her at the entrance of the civil affairs bureau, she'd be embarrassed. And he also knew she wouldn't get married to anyone but him. She loved him too much.

It was something he had been so sure of, and it was one of the reasons why even though he had been seeing her stepsister behind her back, he still agreed to marry her. But, he wasn't expecting this change in tide.

Just who did she marry?

Seeing the confusion in both her sister's and ex-fiance's eyes, Raelle laughed hysterically and placed the marriage certificate in Kim's hand.

"Doubt it?"

"You can go through it," she said casually as she began to tie her black waist-length hair into a loose bun.

Frantically, Kim flipped over the pages of the book as Claire snuck a peek at it.

Was Raelle serious? Was she married? But to who?

Questions kept popping into the duo's heads as they looked through the booklet.

Eyes widened in disbelief when they saw the name of the husband.

Liam? As in Liam Wilson, CEO of the prestigious Wilson's Corporation?

Kim couldn't believe his eyes.

This was a prank, right?

Does she even know who she had gotten married to?

Raelle grabbed the booklet from their hands, laughing loudly. Her breathing was even beginning to hitch due to the intensity of her laughter.

She was enjoying the shocked and speechless looks on their faces.

"Now you see Kim, I am married. Officially Mrs. Wilson." Raelle giggled as she said those words. She kinda liked the sound of the new title.

Kim was still lost in his trance as he mumbled, "The CEO of Wilson's Corporation?"

He looked like one who had been struck by thunder. He looked pale, and his eyes had dissipated greatly. The look on his face made Raelle feel happy.

Raelle didn't answer him. Although it wasn't like she knew who the CEO of Wilson's Corporation was.

"You! You.." Claire was stuttering. Perhaps, she was so shocked that she couldn't form a simple sentence.

"I did what? Sister..." Raelle drew the word sister deliberately.

Pointing a finger at her, Claire spoke loudly. "Do you even know who you married? Do..."

"Why should I bother sister? He's handsome, he looks rich. What more do I need to consider?" Raelle interjected.

"You married a man who can't even function in bed. A disabled man." Claire laughed hysterically.

It wasn't news that the Famous CEO of The Wilson's Corporation was still unmarried because he couldn't perform in bed. It was spoken of by everyone, even though the majority of them haven't seen him before. Yet, no one dared to say it loudly for fear of being dealt with. They all knew not to mess with the CEO of The Wilson Corporation.

A look of shock flashed on Raelle's face, which even Kim and Claire saw. But all in a split second, it was replaced with a broad and proud smile.

Claire could have sworn that she saw that look of shock just now.

Raelle felt proud. She was not unfamiliar with the name Liam Wilson. He was twenty-eight years old, had a successful career, and was also unmarried. Being the CEO of Wilson's Corporation as well as he was the King of the business world.

He controlled the country's business world and also the major economic cornerstones at such a young age. He was also one whose path none dared to cross; in the blink of an eye, he could ruin everything about them.

That much, Raelle knew. But about the 'disability' part, she'd just have to find out the only one way there is.
