Chapter 2

"Are you sick? Your face is slightly red." To her surprise Erica touched her forehead causing her to feel butterflies in her stomach.

"Uhm... I-i am not." She mentally cursed herself for stuttering. She was taken aback by the sudden gesture of the latter, it made her heart pound so hard almost ripping her ribcage.

"I'll just go to the restroom."

Eris excused to calm her pounding heart. Entering the restroom, and making sure that no one's inside aside from her, she immediately lock the door. Eris washed her face from the sink and face the mirror.

"I know this is wrong from the eyes of others but, all my life... I've been living in the shadows of my parents. I think... it is the time to think and decide for myself." Eris sighed.
