14. AT THE SUPERMARKET

Lila snatched the first aid kit from Ashley and applied the ointment on my fingers.

"How could you be so careless?... Tiara!" [Lila]

She avoided looking at him and tried to distract her mind by trying to chide about my carelessness.

Ashley was staring at both of us. He chuckled silently although Lila didn't pay attention to it.

I caught him chuckling and met his eyes. Lila turned towards him. He became silent. Lila turned back towards me. Her eyes were trying to focus on me. She sighed.

I chuckled and relaxed now that the atmosphere came back to normal.

We sat on the dining table and had our dinner. It was quite late already and the dinner had almost gone cold but we still ate it.

We were supposed to be in bed by then but we got carried away with those situations.

We had our dinner quickly. I saw Ashley off at the door and bid good night to him.

We went to bed after watching TV for a bit. Lila slept in my room. She fell asleep later than usual. Mom came back late at night and came to my room to check up on me.

I could not sleep since I was thinking about the dream I would get. I didn't want her to worry so I pretended to be asleep. She closed the door and went to bed, I guess.

The next two days went as usual. Nothing special happened.

I didn't meet Ashley after that night.

My mom was accompanying me at home, so I took these two days off and spent those time with her.

"How time flies! Larry is supposed to give the decorative items to Charlotte today."

I told my mom about Ashley's birthday celebration. She insisted on wishing him from her side if she could not meet him.

Charlotte, Lila and me planned on hanging out to buy some gifts and also to plan to decorate.

The dining time is also limited to three hours. We called each other to confirm our meeting.

We decided to meet at the Schrodinger's complexities by evening. I told my mom about our meeting. She told me to run some errands for dinner. I went to the supermarket nearby to buy some groceries since I had plenty of time.

I entered the glass door. It was almost empty.

I strolled around with my trolley. I picked up a few snacks along with the groceries. By the time I went to the billing counter, there was a man billing a handful of items.

To my surprise, it was Ashley. It's been two days since that incident.

After that night, whenever I thought of the scenario where Ashley held onto me, I could hallucinate the flash of memory from my previous dreams. It became more often than before.

Yesterday's dream was a bit vivid and different. I dreamed of the mysterious boy in my dream holding onto me like Ashley did.

But it felt as if I liked it that way. But I forgot what happened later in that dream after I woke up. However, I could only hallucinate the snowfall memory. So, now I am confident that it was a memory and not a dream.

I went up to the billing counter and patted his shoulders.

" What a coincidence, Tiara!"

'Yeah, it really is a coincidence.' I could never guess where he goes and what he does.

We billed our stuffs and went out together. He is surely a gentleman. I could say that by the way, he took the carry bags from my hand.

Well, it was my fault to buy so many stuffs at once. I was a bit embarrassed.

We came across our skyline apartment parks and sat on a bench for a while. There were a few people walking and chatting. The kids were playing in the play area. We both were silent.

"Tiara?.about the thing which you asked me before..." [Ashley]

He was looking at the kids. I looked at him

"Huh? ...Do you mean about the dinner at my apartment two days ago?" [Tiara]

"Yeah... You wanted to know about this, didn't you?. I know that you can't keep confusing things in your mind for too long and its outcome. So, hear me out" [Ashley]

I gleamed at him with curiosity with puppy eyes.

"I am all ears!" [Tiara]

I had an idea about it but still very excited. He huffed and looked at me as he began with their story.
