Finding the lost childhood love (Dropped)

At Lu villa :

There was silence in the whole villa except in a room on the second floor. There was sound of mouse clicking and keyboard keys. Two young girls were sitting on queen side bed while staring at laptop in front of them.

"Meimei look you got enrolled in X University", said Lu Qian squealed happily.

"Yeah. I am very happy. My dream has come true now I can study in my dream university. But what about you Qianqian? Check your's quickly", Zhao Mei said to her best friend Lu Qian excitedly.

"Yes. Let me check".

Lu Qian entered her student Id number in the search box. She squealed louder than before when she found the name of X university under her name and said, "I got enrolled in economics department. We can again study together in the same university". Lu Qian hugged Zhao Mei happily.

"Let's go to my home mom dad will be waiting for us. I will ask dad to prepare our favourite cake", Zhao Mei said while closing the laptop. They came out of Lu villa and went to Zhao Mei's house. On the way Zhao Mei called her father and asked him to prepare the cake. When he asked the reason she said that it was a secret she will tell them after she arrives at home.

Zhao Mei's house is twenty minutes drive from Lu villa. Her house is a three story building where at the ground floor there is Rainbow cake shop which is runned by her family while first floor consist of kitchen, living room and on guest room and second floor has two bedrooms.

Rainbow cake shop is a very famous cake shop in the whole city which is always flooded with people all around the year. They sell's various types of cakes, pastries as well as customised cakes.

At Rainbow cake shop :

In the shop Zhao Mei's father Zhao Mushan was cleaning the counter when he saw two of them coming. Lu Qian greeted father Zhao after entering the shop. "Hello uncle, how are you?".

Father Zhao greeted them with a smile and said," I am fine and how are you? It has been some time since you came to visit us.

Lu Qian scratched her head and apologised to him, "Sorry uncle I was little bit busy so I didn't visit you".

Zhao Mei rolled her eyes at Lu Qian. "Yes yes very busy at eating and sleeping whole day".

Lu Qian glared at her while father Zhao laughed heartily. Then he turned to Zhao Mei and asked, "Now tell me what secret you was talking about on the phone?". He looked at her with anticipation.

"Wait let me call mom first". After saying that Zhao Mei went inside to call mother Zhao. Soon both mother and daughter walked outside the kitchen.

Zhao Mei walked to stand in front of them and stood with Lu Qian. Then with a big smile on her face she said, "Mom dad I want to share a good news with you".

She paused mid-sentence and saw the changing expression on her fathers face. Before he scold her for taking to long to complete her sentence she continued, "We both have successfully enrolled in X university".

Father Zhao smiled brightly and hugged both Lu Qian and Zhao Mei happily. Mother Zhao came after father Zhao to hug them.

"I knew both of you will be successful in enrolling in X university", Father Zhao said proudly.

Lu Qian pouted her lips and said dramatically, "Uncle how can you say that. Even I myself was not sure if I will get enrolled in X university but I was very sure about Zhao Mei. She is straight A student so there is no doubt that she will attend X university.

Zhao Mei shook her head helplessly at Lu Qian's confidence about her. "Enough of this now".

"Let's go and celebrate your enrolment. Which restaurant you want to go?", asked father Zhao to both of them.

"No uncle I want to eat aunty's cooking and cake made by you to celebrate it", said Lu Qian excitedly.

"Ok I will cook full table of dishes to celebrate", said mother Zhao happily and went into kitchen to prepare dinner.

"Now I understand why you asked to bake chocolate truffle cake", father Zhao said while looing at her knowingly.
