He had been thinking about it after his encounter with Solar Blyze, that Haoran Lee's lookalike. And he found the answer to be really simple.
Therius needed to find a way to make Emma stay here in the palace and safe at all times. He should never let her out of his sight. That means.. no more school and meeting strangers or new people.
He knew that Emma wanted to leave and experience so many things and he already gave her that opportunity. However… even a patient man like Therius had his limits.
He searched for her for twenty years, traveled across the universe to find her, waited for her to fall in love with him… he had been so understanding and patient, yet… they always tried to take her away from him.
Therius ground his teeth for a moment.
