Chapter 25

"Ma", Habeeb was saying to Ameedah's mum. Can I take Ameedah out for few hours.

"Hmmm, your wedding preparation has started and the couple should not be seen together again until after the wedding", Ameedah's mum answered though she was only teasing him.

Ameedah hasn't really been herself since she returned from Osun state and Habeeb knew exactly what the reason was and that's why he took it upon himself to cheer her up by taking her out.

" Please ma'am, let me take her, I promise we won't stay long".

"Alright fine, she's in her room", she replied.

" Thanks a lot ma'am",Habeeb said hugging her and walked up to Ameedah's room.

Habeeb knocked when he got to the door of her room.

"Yes, come in",Ameedah said.

Ohhh, Habeeb, why are you here, she asked plainly without vigour.
