I started my day with my usual morning jog and I didn't go my usual route today because we will be having our band practice. I took a shower and then went downstairs and found John and Rex already setting up their stuff. Bran was in the kitchen preparing coffee. We have been practicing everyday since the recital is drawing near and I thought this was another ordinary day but I was wrong. When we were finishing up, Bran stopped playing and called someone. She must be Bran's sister that he keeps talking about but I thought she wont be home until the end of summer. So that explains why the AC was turned on from the room beside mine. That must be her room.

What I saw next was the most beautiful girl that I've ever laid eyes on. She's someone who doesn't have to exert any effort to look good and a girl who doesn't need any makeup because she was already perfect. And when she smiled, God, I thought my whole world rocked because she has the most breathtaking smile. And when Bran introduced her to us, I didn't hesitate to shake her hands and when our hands touched, I felt a spark and a connection. I think she felt it too because she blushed a little which makes her so cute. I kept on looking at her and when she caught me, I smiled to hide my embarrassment. And when she said that she'd go to the kitchen to prepare some food, I knew that it was my chance to introduce myself formally and somehow get her to myself.

On my way to the kitchen I heard her talking to Manang Irene and she sounded that she missed the old woman terribly. It was as if they were very close and she sounds so nice. She's unlike those rich kids who are spoiled and doesn't have any manners and as what I have heard from Bran, she was very friendly and down to earth. I hope I'd get the chance to get to know her more.

When Manang Irene left the kitchen, I was about to talk to her but I saw that she had her back on me. I can see that she was so passionate in what she was doing and she effortlessly prepared the food like she has been doing it her whole life. For a rich kid, she's something else and that's what makes her special. And according to Bran, she preferred to live with their grandparents in Cebu to avoid the limelight here because she wants to live the simplest way there is. I guess I really have to find out about this myself. There is something in her that really pulls me in and that I need to get to know her more.

I could stare at her for the whole day but she suddenly turned around and caught me. She slightly jumped because she was not expecting me to be there so I had to apologize for startling her. I then took the chance to introduce myself again and when she shook my hand, I felt it again. And that's when I knew that I found the one that I'm willing to wait forever for.

I was ecstatic when she allowed me to help her prepare the food and the drinks because I get to spend some time with her. It was also a plus when I found out that she will be staying here for good because I'd get to see her everyday. And when she said that she needs someone to drive her to the mall, I knew I had to take the opportunity to be alone with her even just for a short time so when Bran suggested that I take her, I readily agreed. I really want to spend time with her and I hope that she feels the same way too.
