Chapter Eight

We waited for Jisoo a little while she arrived around 6:00 pm in the evening and she looked somehow happy and sad. "Whats wrong with your mood, why is your face like this?" Jennie asked Jisoo. "Lets go to Minnie's house first I'll tell you everything that happened" Jisoo said. "Alright..let's go" Jennie said.

When we arrived at the Minnie's house we knocked at the door. Minnie opened the door. "Susan greet Minnie she's a friend of mine since elementary school but we didn't attend the same High school" Jennie said. 'Hi' I said to Minnie. "Hi my name is Minnie am from phillipines but I grew up in Korea nice to meet you" Minnie said. "But why do you look very familiar"Minnie continued. I wanted to talk but Jennie interrupted. "Shes an American-Korean, so her siblings are musicians, her sister is the popular Lisa that you always hear about but don't tell anyone that Susan is related to Lisa,Jerry and Jennie please...am telling you this because we are friends" Jennie said. "Oh my God, I feel like am a friend with a celebrity..wait let me bring something for you guys so we could eat" Minnie said. We heard a knock on the door, Minnie went to open the door it was a delivery man. "Your delicious Pizza is here" the man said and gave the package to Minnie and left at once. "so delivery men work late in the evening too" I said in my mind. "guys come and eat..the pizza is very delicious"Minnie said. we sat together to eat the pizza. I took a bite of it it's very delicious. "The pizza tastes very good"Jennie and Jisoo said together. "So Jisoo, you said you wanted to tell us something when we arrive at Minnie's house so we are here, what is it about?" Jennie asked Jisoo. "I broke up with sam" Jisoo said. "I think I've heard that a thousand times" Minnie said, which made everyone to laugh. "So what did he do this time" Jennie asked Jisoo. "He told me he doesn't want to date a dark girl..this time around he was serious and am very sure that he meant it"Jisoo said. "But you aren't that dark" I said to Jisoo. "No one will believe you're an African if he or she doesn't take a closer look at you" Jennie said. "But you are not feeling even a little bit sad"Minnie said. "Thats because once I break up with someone I delete their memories from my head to increase my brain capability" Jisoo said, this made everyone to laugh very hard. "And also I like someone else" Jisoo said. "Who could that be?" we asked her in unison. "I was just joking am not serious" Jisoo said and we all hissed.

"What should we do now we're done eating the pizza" Jisoo said. "Lets do something fun" Jennie said. Minnie stood up and went into her room she brought something that looks like a machine you can place your hands on. "This is called a lie detector..my elder sister bought it but she is not around..should we try it out?" Minnie asked. "Yes of course we should" I said. "You're gonna place your hands on it if someone asks you a question you'll answer, if you are wrong the Lie detector machine will vibrate and it will shock you but if you say the truth it won't shock you" Minnie explained. "Okay" we said in unison. "Okay who will go first?" Jennie asked. "Me" Jisoo said. "Okay.. I'll ask you the question" Jennie said. "Okay ask" Jisoo replied. "Do you like Ni-ki"? Jennie asked Jisoo. "What the fuck? why will you ask me that kind of question? me like Ni-ki that good for nothing psychopath..." Jisoo said angrily. "Yes or No" Jennie asked Jisoo. Jisoo calmed down a bit. "No" she said and the machine vibrated and shocked her. "So you like Ni-ki" Minnie said teasing Jisoo. but Jisoo didn't reply. Minnie asked Jennie a question and Jisoo asked Jennie. soon it was my turn. I was already expecting the question Jennie was about to ask me "Do you like Hans" Jennie and Jisoo asked me in unison. "She likes Hans? my crush. I also like him" Minnie said and I looked at her in surprise. "Well don't worry I no longer have a crush on him I got my own boyfriend" Minnie said. I placed my hand on the machine I didn't know wether to say yes or No. I said "No" the machine vibrated and shocked me. they all laughed at me. "Don't worry we already know that you like Hans that's why Jennie and I left you guys to walk home alone" Jisoo said.

It was already late in the night so we slept at Minnie's house and went home the next day to prepare for school on Monday.
