Lone life

We reach Ystria's home. It seems Han placed a tracker on her. Rock broke open the front door with a kick. His cybernetic implants do come in handy. We looked inside and a long corridor led to a big hall. The corridor is full of magical traps.

"What type of magic is this? I ask.

" Can't say for sure. Maybe it is the Byzantine magic system." Byzantine really? Guess our magical girl is talented.

"I sense a direct unguarded path on the right of this corridor. Rock can you punch a hole on the right wall." Aster used her psychic powers to sense an alternate path. Rocks punched through the wall on the right. We found Ystria sitting on a throne like seat and beside her there was Aad.

"We saw you take away the golem's head. Where is it?"

"You will have answers. If you are willing to listen."

"Get to the point" I said.

"Well this golem is none other than Aad himself."

"What?"

"I shapeshifted into the golem to live in peace near the space colony. I have always dreamt of living in the human world, in space especially. Hence I came into a pact with Ystria who taught me human magic, Byzantine magic using which I shapeshifted."

"Yes and the head you saw earlier was the product of my magic." Ystria says.

"Why a golem? You could have turned into a human."

"And lose all magical power. Golem's much better."

"How did you kill Han's parents?"

"It was an accident. They discovered my hideout and I had to kill them."

"And Ystria what's in it for you?"

"In return Aad taught me their magic."

"And what did you do to Han?"

"The cave exploded. He is dead."

What? My father figure is dead? So I am lonely once again.

"What? No. You bastard."

"I might die trying but I will make you pay." Rock said in anger.

"You denounced the Gods long ago and are bent on destroying God's creation. As I expected of an oni"

" Destroying God's creation? You have a false belief of the oni .No. All we want is to live fulfilling our own goals. Our future has to be in our hands. If we don't get it we will take it."

"We will definitely come back for you."

" We will not let sir Han's sacrifice be in vain."

" Listen. I am not like Gaaz. I will let you escape this time. It is not safe anymore for me to be here. I will return to my realm."

"One day when you are strong come back to fight me."

"Yes we will not tell anything about you. Because we will come back to get you when we get stronger."

"I hear footsteps outside. Must be marines." Ester sensed.

"I will teleport you. Go now."

We were teleported nearby just far enough from the marines.

"Let's hurry. They might catch us. We must avoid them at all costs." Aster says

We try to get as far away from the marines as possible.

We see a poster on the way. A wanted poster with our names and photos on it.
