Fighting Against Madness

Most people who die and get reborn don't get to remember their past lives. Honestly Asher often wished he could forget his own past life. Having lived up to the age of 40 as a woman who led a more tragic life than some novels out there, he was weighed down by the overwhelming regrets he had before he was reborn. This time he will live fully and when he finally dies there will be no regrets. Xavier Sunabae is the heir to the Beastkin Kingdom, and a Kitsune. He is the first of his kind born with 9-tails in a millenium. However with his birth comes a terrible prophecy, that predicts the end of the Beastkin Kingdom and the eradication of all the species. All he knows is that he needs to unite all of the Kingdoms before Madness takes over everything ********************************************************************** Authors Note: This has an R18 tag due to adult themes that will run rampant throughout the story. Chapter 9

Lounging in a large double king bed, an incredibly attractive man watched tendrils of smoke from the tip of his cigarette. One lazy hand stroked the hair of the sexiest Omega he'd met in his almost half of a millennium life. Theo, rather King Theodore O'Hanaran of the Unseelie Court, in the Fae Empire. Perhaps Empire is a bit of a misnomer, really it's a divided country in light and darkness. The two courts, Seelie and Unseelie bound together in a tenuous armistice. One basically based in fighting a common foe.

"Report." He said to the shadow flickering in the corner of the room. Instantly a man appeared out of thin air, short light blue hair was all Theo could see as the man took a knee. He bowed to Theo, with an arm crossed over his chest, fist clenched. The shadows swirled around him, and slowly dissipated.

"My liege. The news is not good. The information you extracted from the target is hardly accurate." Theo looked down at Astor snuggled against his side. He'd basically teased and fucked her until she passed out. She had yet to regain consciousness.

"Hmmm." Theo took a drag off his cigarette again. "I figured as much. She is not one to give in so easy." The man bowed his head lower.

"There is more my liege." The man stated simply. Theo waved his hand in a motion for him to continue.

"It is spreading to other Kingdoms at a rapid pace. Mana corruption has also started spreading at a rapid pace." Theo let out a sigh, and stubbed out his cigarette.

Mana it the building block of everything in this world. Without it crops would not grow, animals would not exist, the very terra itself would not have been formed, and because of that even the buildings and technology need mana. Theo had been keeping an eye on the corruption for the past two hundred years. At first it was simply on a small island, a part of a chain, with the current island he resides the biggest of the twelve. In the year the corruption had spread, almost two hundred years, the corruption spread only over four other islands. Now that the corruption reached this island, it had officially spread to all twelve.

"We need to contact the Queen of Light, she has a better relationship with other countries." The man nodded at Theo's words. "As for the other thing, we need to find him. I want all Shadows on this task."

"Yes, my liege."

"You're dismissed." At these words the man stood, bowed again, and shadows exploded from his back, and wrapped around his entire body. In mere moments he was completely gone. Theo reached out to ring a small bell that sat on the table next to the bed. Another man entered, dressed in the clothing of a servant, the man inclined his head towards Theo.

"Yao Fei, I need you to pack up everything. I want this island deserted by tomorrow. No traces at all."

"Yes, your Majesty. As for Lady Astor?" Yao Fei was trying to gain information about the woman. The moment his King had lain eyes upon her, he seemed to lose all rationality. The King swore that Lady Astor was an Omega, however all public records stated she was a beta. The king swore he could smell the woman's pheromones, but not a single other Alpha was able. Yao Fei was positive that this woman had tricked his King.

"She'll be going with us. She will be my Queen and she's my fated." Theo looked down at the sleeping woman with adoration in his eyes. Never had Yao Fei seen such a soft look from his King. The man was ruthless and maybe even a little evil.

"Send in a couple of female servants to have her cleaned up and dressed." Theo extricated himself from the arms that were clinging to him. His pale shimmering in the candlelit room. Yao Fei immediately reacted as soon as he saw the King start to get up. He grabbed a black silk robe, sliding it onto the King's shoulders as soon as he had stood up. Theo tied the robe belt loosely, as he picked up another cigarette. A flame sprouted from the tip of his forefinger for him to light it up. With a deep inhale, followed by an exhale. "Also have some food sent for her. She'll be starving when she wakes up."

With his cigarette between his fingers Theo gazed down at Astor who was now wrapping herself around his recently vacated pillow. A smile graced his lips as memories of the night before flooded his mind.

He had driven her to the edge of orgasm over and over. Her body was quaking with need beneath him. She cried, begged, and babbled at him. He had purposefully shattered her pride, broken down the walls she had set up. Theo took glee in the fact that he had rendered the proud noble woman to a simpering mess.

Theo was surprised that she was able to give him false information at all considering the sheer amount of duress she was in at the time. When she had finally confessed the information, he relented in giving her what she wanted. He had taken her over and over again, plowing into her, forcing her to reach higher and higher, until she had finally passed out from exhaustion.

He was impressed by her stamina, but what truly impressed Theo is that she was able to lie while he had reduced her to a puddle. Theo let a chuckle escape his lips, Astor's strength and stubbornness, was just another seductive quality to him. He couldn't wait to sink his fangs into her neck, bonding and marking her to him forever. She was truly a worthy Queen and an even better opponent for him.

=======================================================

Far off the coast of the Sunabae Empire a vessel sails over the crystal clear water. Sea-green sails billow in the wind, and the shouts of people can be heard. A beautiful young man stands on the quarter deck, his hair waist long hair, as golden and varied in color as a sunset. He stares out over the water, his rainbow opalescent eyes glittering in the sunlight. He's dressed in brown linen pants, white linen shirt, and knee high leather boots.

Another young man just as beautiful climbed the steps up to the quarter deck.

"Captain Aldric?" the young man called out "Sir?"

"Hmmm?" Captain Aldric turned to look at the young man. His hair was also long tied back in a low pony-tail, the color of a seaweed forest. His eyes were opalescent much like the Captains, except his were a dazzling emerald.

"The scouts have found another corrupted sea creature. It's heading straight towards one of the cities. If it attacks...they'll be decimated. I've already alerted the Guard and they are prepared to meet us there." Aldric turned and looked at the man who had been his best friend for his whole life.

"Feylan, same plan as usual?" Aldric lifted an eyebrow at him, patiently waiting for a response. The fact that it took longer than normal, means that things have changed.

"They want us in the city." Aldric's face showed a moment of surprise, before he masked it.

"That is a terrible idea." Feylan shrugged.

"It's your brother's orders." At those words Aldric frowned deeply.

"I do not agree with it. That is a fucking dumb ass idea." Aldric's hands clenched into fists.

"He doesn't know what we know." Feylan said softly.

"The hell he doesn't! I've told him, in fucking detail exactly why. Those things get weaker closer to the surface. It's not just that, that thing can corrupt the entire city. What the hell is my brother thinking?" Feylan shifted from foot to foot nervously.

"He's also sending the Alpha Tear unit."

"You have to be fucking kidding me!" His yell echoed across the decks causing Feylan to wince. "I am not working with those Alpha-holes! Fuck that. Nope. You get my brother on the Shell-phone so I can have a conversation with him!" Feylan nodded and took off towards the navigation and communication cabin.

Aldric didn't even bother to turn around to see if his order was followed. He knew it was. There was no way he was letting his crew, his Omega only crew, to go be near a bunch of over-bearing Alpha assholes, who refuse to follow rank if the officer is an Omega. He was going to give his brother an earful.

Another minute or two and one of the navi-com subordinates showed up.

"They are ready for you Sir." I nodded, and turned on my heel heading into the Navigation-Communication cabin. He walked up to the shell-phone. He took the conk shell in his hand, placing it up to his ear. He wrapped the curly cord around his forefinger.

"Brother?" He said tentatively he. While he may talk a big game, when it comes to his brother he tended to be timid.

"It's me little clam." A deep chuckle came through the shell.

"You need to know, us going down there is a terrible idea. A really terrible idea."

"Oh? Why is it that my brother is questioning the orders of his King?" Aldric winced at those words.

"I have an entire crew of Omega. Not only that but killing the monster can make the corruption spread through that city. You do not want everyone in that city corrupted." His voice hitched in pitch a bit, he rarely questioned his brother's orders.

"I have taken all those into account. The generals and I feel that this is the best course of action. That monster is to be captured not killed." Aldric flinched.

"What the hell? Why? Why are you capturing it? I've sent you a ton of samples!" He actually raised his voice to his brother, he was going to get his ass kicked later.

"Prince Aldric are you raising your voice to your King?" His brother didn't raise his voice, it was low and firm. It made Aldric exhale softly.

"I'm sorry brother."

"Forgiven. We need a live specimen to find out exactly how the corruption spreads. The Alpha's will also be on high dose suppressants, and your Omega's will be wearing suppressors." Aldric let loose a sigh again.

"I don't like this plan. I don't like it at all. Plus I can't leave the ship empty."

"Leave a skeleton crew to man the ship. Bring your best. I know your about 10 klicks from the city. It should only take you an hour for you and your crew to natant to the city. Aldric covered his face with his left hand, the knuckles of his right turning white as he clutched the shell in his hand.

"I do not like this plan, Sir." Aldric ground out the words through clenched teeth.

"You don't have to like it, you just have to follow it. Get going Aldric. I'll see you there soon." There was a click and then silence on the other end of the line. Aldric dropped the shell on it's holder and looked at Feylan.

"Assemble the Sea Turtle and Sea Horse teams. Apparently we are heading back home for a battle." He walked out of the Navi-Com cabin right as Feylan was issuing orders over the intercom. He could hear the speakers even from inside.

"Attention: Sea Turtle and Sea Horse teams prepare for battle. We will be descending to the scene of the battle." The same phrase was repeated three times, and Aldric began to strip off his clothing. After the entire division had stripped themselves of all their clothing, except for weapons. Aldric grabbed his bow and a quiversful of arrows. He slung the quiver over his back, and took a deep breath as he led the group of Omega's to stand on the rails of the ship. He took a deep breath and dove right in.

The mana swirled around all of them, glittering hues of gold and silver. Aldric's long hair swirled in the water, as his tail began to reform around him. The sunset coloration of his hair, matching with the scales that began to form along his legs. Within moments each member of the crew had returned to their sea form, flicking his tail Aldric lead his teams down towards the city, and their impending battle.
