Stupid Payback~

"Mom I told you I don't want to marry that girl!"

Sitting on the dinner table, Zaki was ready to dig in when he heard his brother Johnson saying something, his mouth wide open and the spoon he was about to put inside was stuck in the air, as his eyes moved towards the entrance of the kitchen, Johnson came inside with his mother following him behind,

"Son please, can't you understand my problem and it's just a contract marriage!"

Johnson came and sat down on a chair in front of Zaki, whereas the lady sat beside him, hearing the word contract marriage his eyebrow upon his head

What? contract marriage?

Is it a contract marriage?

Why did no one tell me this?

His thoughts got stuck in the middle when he heard his brother again speaking

"Mom I told you I already like someone else!"

Was it all an act, what he did there in the restaurant?

If he already likes someone then why he was being all innocent and nice that day?

He could just have denied marrying that girl!

His thoughts got block once again but this, his mother spoke

"I don't care if you like someone or not! you have to marry Sofia and that's final!"

The lady stood up and left after ordering her son, Zaki just sat there looking and hearing them both.

So here is the thing, Johnson and his mother lives in Landon, the place where Zaki and Sofia met each other for the first time, while Zaki lives alone here, Zaki has always been his dads favorite, and that guy sitting in front of him is not his real brother, Johnson and Zaki are step-brothers, Zaki's father got married to Johnson's mother when he was 18, and after some time that lady moved to Landon with her son,

Whereas Zaki lived here with his father and now after his father's death he lives here alone, that trip with his friends was not just a trip he went there to meet his step-mother and step-brother and talking about to relationship between Zaki and his step-mother, they both hate each other, while Johnson and Zaki even tho they live far from each other, Johnson is two years older than Zaki, they have a pretty friendly and brotherly relation,

"What happened, brother?"

Zaki finally spoke, after that lady left them alone

"Man I don't know what to do! I already like someone else and here! mom is forcing me to that girl!"

"Hmm, told ya! Thank God she is not my mother!"

A chuckle left his mother, while Johnson glared at him

"Sorry, bro! but what can we do? you have to do what your mother said!"

Zaki's advice didn't help Johnson's distress in any way, he shook his head and stood up

"I won't marry that girl! no matter what!"

Johnson utters before he left the kitchen leaving Zaki all alone,

"Well, I think no one will eat today but for me!"

Zaki digs in again and continues eating.

"I can't believe you're getting married, if you'll get married then what will I do!"

A sad pout on Jeanie's face she utters showing sadness in her voice, the moment Sofia told Jeanie about her marriage that was something that author can't explain, she made a huge issue and now she was sitting here in a cafe all unhappy,

Jean was just looking at his twin sister weirdly, why does she overreact with everything.

"Anyway, Are you happy with all of this?"

"Happiness? it doesn't matter right now! I'm just stuck in something"

Jean asked sincerely, While Sofia answered in a serious way speaking her head as no she was glaring down on the table, maybe she was thinking something again

Everything seemed pretty calm outside but inside her brain, there was just one person Zaki and his stupid payback~
