P.S= #58: He's The Enemy

Soranel spoke up with a chilling suggestion. "We should kill him."

Cory's eyes widened in shock. "Wait, what? No, we can't."

"Why not?" Soranel pressed.

"We shouldn't take someone's life," Cory replied firmly, bending down to retrieve the ball from Jin's clothes. "Look, we have the ball. Let's just go."

Soranel huffed in frustration, and the tension in the group was palpable. Suddenly, a loud whistle cut through the air, and Elliott and Sydney came running towards them. Yamato Kiyomizu, Gwenyth, and Naima were approaching from the other side.

Elliott approached Cory with a quizzical look. "What's up with the guy on the ground?" he asked.

Yamato was the first to recognize the situation. "Is he..."

"No," Cory interrupted quickly.

Naima crouched down and activated her magic drive. ZKHREEEN!!!! Her white tattoo began to form in her eyes as she placed her hands on Jin's chest. VOOMISH!! a white light covered her hands and Jin's chest.

Soranel watched Naima heal Jin with a sad expression. "Cory, why save him when he was going to kill us? Did you know that he killed many people?"

"Huh?" Cory was taken aback by the accusation.

"Are you siding with him? Are you saying it's okay for him to get away with his crimes?" Soranel pressed.

"No, never. But two wrongs don't make a right," Cory replied firmly.

"I see. Did you know I was going to ask you to join my crew? But it seems that you're not a good match for the Sky Slayers," Soranel said coldly.

Jin groaned and slowly opened his eyes. "Hmm."

Cory turned around. "You're awake."

"Yeah, but I lost," said Jin.

TEP! TEP! TEP! A girl with black hair walked up to them. "Are you okay, boss?" she asked.

"Oh, Brit, I'm fine," said Jin.

"I wasn't talking to you," the girl said, looking at someone behind Jin.

"Huh?"

"I was talking to Captain Soranel."

Jin's heart skipped a beat. "Captain? Don't tell me you were a traitor."

"No, silly. I wasn't your ally from the start."

"What are you talking about? We were experimented on together," said Jin.

"Oh, I forgot." The girl took out the 8 of Hearts and waved it over her body. Her appearance started to change. Her tall black hair turned short and blue with bangs, her red eyes turned purple, and her clothes changed into a black skintight suit with her breasts showing and a leather jacket over the combat suit.

"What the--you're not Brit," said Jin.

The girl started to smile. "CAHAHAHAH! CAHAHAH! Of course not. I killed that girl three hours ago. My name is Stella from the Sky Slayers."

"What the hell is happening here?" said Elliott.

[Outside]

"That guy is the enemy," said Destiny.

Ava jumped down from the stands. "Indi, watch Destiny. Open the gates now."

"Right." Ava rushed through the gate.

"You see, Cory, you and I are the same, and yet we are still far different. The only difference between us is the fact that I would do anything to achieve power in this world, even if it means killing the person I love the most," said Soranel.

Cory pointed at Jin. "But won't that make you and him the same?"

"No. I will change this world for the better. I will destroy this world and rebuild a world of peace and love. I will build heaven. I will be the god of this world," said Soranel.

"If that's the case, then so be it. I will be the devil that will stop the god," said Cory.

"Hmm, that settles it then. The next time we meet, we will be enemies. But before then, I will leave you with a gift from god."

Soranel coated his hands in stage 2 Haku and slashed down, releasing his Haku in a powerful slash that cut Cory's chest, leaving a huge scar.

"GAAAAHH!!!" Cory screamed.

"Cory!" Everyone shouted as lots of blood rushed from the wound.

"Now shall we go, Stella?" said Sydney.

"Right." Stella activated her magic drive and took out a pack of playing cards. She drew the Ace of Spades, and the card sucked up all three of them before disappearing.

TEP! TEP! Ava reached the others, but Soranel, Sydney, and Stella were already gone.
