OLD MAN'S BLACKMAILING METHODS.

FLASHBACK CONTINUED....TWO MONTHS BEFORE ROSE WEN'S BIRTHDAY,

In Imperial City at Edward Mansion.

Mr. Edward had just hung up the phone after talking to his grandson Louis. All the other family members of Edward family who were sitting in the hall on the sofa with him were staring at him with curiousness to know about his talk with Louis. Everyone saw the sudden change on old man's face which was smiling from ear to ear hence everyone started to look at him with full of anticipation.

Suddenly Ray asked his grandfather, "grandpa what did elder brother say? Is he going to come back home? I really miss him." Ray was real youngest brother of Louis. They both loved each other. Ray was of 18 yrs old. He was just 10 yrs when Louis went abroad to study business.

Grandpa Edward winked at ray and he gave him an high-five. he said," Of course. Why wouldn't he fall in our trap?".

Ray got happy and immediately hugged his grandpa. Other family members were delighted to hear this news too. After hearing the news immediately Louis's father Fredrick Edward said," It's good that Louis is coming back home. Now he can take over the company all by himself. what do you think bout it Stephen?".

"Of course brother. I wish him to be the CEO of our company too. He has been distant from us for many years now. I am waiting for him to share the work load with Alex. So that we elders can just spend time at home accompanying our father and our wives." Stephen Edward agreed with his elder brother Fredrick.

Mr. Edward had two sons and one daughter. His eldest son was Fredrick Edward and second son was Stephen Edward. Louis and Ray were Fredrick's sons. Louis was the eldest and ray was the youngest one. Stephen had one son and one daughter. Eldest son was Alex Edward and youngest daughter was Hailey Edward.

After hearing the opinions of his two sons on returning of Louis Mr. Edward frowned and said, "don't you both dare make my dear grandson work right away when he comes. He promised me to go for fishing. I can only rely on my grandsons. You two both despite being my sons are busy with their work every now and then. You don't even spend time with you father. All of my grandsons and grand-daughters care for their grandpa. You make my dear child Alex work day and night after making him the president. Now you both even want to snatch away another grandson of mine."

Just then someone entered from the door of the mansion. It was Alex Edward who was just coming from an business trip. His hair was messy and his clothes had wrinkles showing that he stayed up all night without blinking an eye. Even in this condition he was an handsome man. When Alex saw all his family sitting in the mansion hall he went and greeted everyone. Just then his grandpa Mr. Edward said. "Alex may you live 100 yrs. we were just talking about you."

Alex hugged his grandpa and sat beside his younger brother Ray who was sitting beside Mr. Edward. Ray told Alex about Louis's return as he was excited to announce. "Elder brother Alex do you know that elder brother is returning home this weekend".

Alex nodded to what Ray told him with a smile on his face. Ray asked Alex, "but brother how did you know about elder brother's return?". Everyone had the same question as Ray and waited for Alex to reply.

When Alex saw the questionable looks on everyone's faces he answered them politely, "I had a talk with him before going to my business trip that was when he told me about his return".

Fredrick's wife Elona Edward asked Alex, "Alex child then why didn't you tell us earlier?".

Alex replied, "Sorry aunt Elona for not mentioning anything about his return. The thing is that he just mentioned me about it once. Louis was still not sure about his return and was still thinking of staying back for another few days and to stabilize work in the abroad branch. Although everything has already been solved but still he has some work to do".

Elona said, "it's okay child. No worries. Even though if he was thinking of staying back now he won't. Father has already used his tactics and he also promised to come back this weekend. When he comes make sure to take an leave for some days. I want our family to spend some time together".

When everyone was listening to what Elona said, suddenly her husband Fredrick commented, "Well of course our father is the best at blackmailing. He always has his own way through. No one can beat this old man's blackmailing methods".

Everyone started laughing. Mr. Edward said. "Of course. My acting skills are the best. You should've heard your son's reaction when I said that my death is coming near".

Everyone fell silent after hearing this. Even though Mr. Edward was stubborn but still everyone loved this old man. Hailey sensed the silence and decided to break it. She said, " Grandpa I am going to have my graduation in this month. Would you like to come with me?".

Grandpa Edward replied with a smile on his face, "Of course my love. Your grandpa is always ready to share your happiness with you".

Hailey was always doted on by her grandfather. She was his only grand-daughter and hence he cherished her more. In fact Hailey was born after her grandma's death. hence Mr. Edward named his grand-daughter after his wife's name i.e. Hailey Edward. Hailey was Stephen's youngest daughter and was 20 yrs old. She was studying fashion designing and was about to get graduated this month. She had already received her degree of arts and was preparing to get graduated so that she would work as an intern and learn more through her work. Hailey loved her grandpa too. In fact all the children loved their grandpa very much.

Aisha Edward who was Stephen's wife commanded Alex, "Alex child you may go and rest. You have been staying up a lot these days. I'll send your breakfast in your room. take a good rest".

"Yes mother", replying Alex went to his room upstairs.

Aisha asks Elona, "Sister what preparations should be done for Louis's return? I think we have to ask Butler Lee to clean his room upstairs. We even have to renovate his room so that he does fell comfortable here. As he is coming back after so many days hence everything should be perfect for him isn't it?".

Elona replied, " I think so too. When he went abroad to study he was really young but now he has become a man hence of course there are things to be done. Now he isn't our cute Louis anymore who used to play with his cars and toys. There are a lot of things to be done. Seems like we both will be pretty busy after so many days of rest".

Elona and Aisha both smiled. Even though they both were in laws but still they were like best friends who would chit-chat often.

Everyone in the Edward family was happy and excited for Louis's return. Elona and Aisha had started preparing his room. Alex was busy with his work as his aunt asked him to take few days off hence he needed to complete all the extra work so that he could spend time with his family peacefully. Mr. Edward was preparing his fishing tools so that he would go with his grandsons for fishing. Stephen and Fredrick were reviewing some projects for the company. Hailey was studying for her intern interview and getting ready for her graduation. Ray was excited to see his elder brother and tell him all the stories from his school. As the days passed by soon the weekend came.
