Xiao Liu put the basket in front of Dong Hai on the stone table, he put aside the scroll he was reading and looked at it.
"What is it?" He asked, seeing the excited sparkle in Xiao Liu.
"I promised you, I will make cakes for you though…" She sighs dramatically ".... you didn't open the library," She slides the basket towards him.
"Then why am I receiving such an honour?" He asked, holding his amused subtle smile carefully.
"If you don't want it…" She tries to take it away slyly.
"Of course, I do," He put his hand flat on the basket and opened the lid, looking inside the red flower-shaped cake. The aroma was sweet but not overly so, just right. He picked one and Xiao Liu waited excitedly for him to taste it, he bit on it slightly and his eyes lit up.
"How is it?" She asked.
"Lilies...?" Dong Hai murmured carefully looking at it.
