Chapter 62
He wanted to ask more but he decided that it is best to wait for Astoria to tell him. When Daphne mentions the twins, he remembers they were there yesterday talking about the contract with the Carrow sisters and Astoria telling him that she is going to find out more about them.
When the class was over, he bid his farewell to Hermione, Daphne, and Tracey and went to the classroom Astoria mentioned in the note. He wants others to come but all of them have more classes. They all decided to take the new classes to see if they are teaching all the syllabus correctly and also to find out how to improve the course. Harry didn't take those classes as he is already busy with other things.
Harry is currently in front of the classroom, Astoria told him. When he opened the door, he saw Astoria with two girls present in the room. Both the girls look similar and both of them are wearing Slytherin robes.
When Astoria sees Harry enter the classroom, she introduces both girls to him.
"Harry, meet Flora Carrow and her twin sister Hestia Carrow."
She then looks toward the sisters and introduces him.
"Both of you meet, Harry Potter."
"Nice to meet both of you."
"Nice to meet you too."
After their greetings both of them look towards Astoria, both of them have no idea what is going on. She invites both of them to come to this classroom to talk about solutions to their problem, but suddenly Harry Potter enters the classroom. It is not that shocking but what is shocking is how Astoria behaves, she is calling him on a first-name basis. From his expression, it looks like it is a normal occurrence.
The only thing inside their mind currently is how Astoria a Slytherin is this much familiar with Gryffindor's Golden Boy.
"As I said before, I have a solution for your problem."
Astoria said to the girls while pointing her finger at Harry.
Three of them are looking confused at her and trying to figure out what she wants to say.
"What do you mean Astoria?"
Harry asked her, as he has seriously no idea what she is saying.
"Harry, their father signs the marriage contract between them and Crabbe and Goyle."
"But how can he sign the contract as"
"I know what you want to say, but it is possible to have girls have multiple contracts."
Harry reads in the book about pureblood customs that a woman can't have more than one husband and she can't inherit the house even if she is the heir. The only person who is allowed to have multiple marriages is the lord as they can take wife and consort for their houses, and if a woman is an heir of multiple houses the heirship falls onto her son. Aunt Andi tells him that there have been many changes in recent years, like a woman becoming the Lady of the house without passing the house to her husband.
"Multiple contracts?"
Flora and Hestia said at the same time.
"Yes, you have one more marriage contract and the person with who you have contracted is Harry. That's why he is here."
"WHAT! We have a marriage contract with Harry Potter?"
"How can this be possible? Father is never going to sign the contract between us. He is a pure-blood supremacist and supporter of the Dark Lord."
"If there is a contract before, why is he signing another one?"
Flora and Hestia speak with a shocked expression as they do not believe what Astoria said. But before Astoria can reply it is Harry who replies.
"What Astoria said is true, there is a marriage contract between us and it is not a recent one but quite an old one."
Harry then looked toward Astoria and she nodded at him which indicates that he can trust them enough to tell them something about Gaunt's house and him finding out about the contract.
"I am not only the Heir of House Potter but also of the House of Gaunt."
Harry showed them his heir ring of the Gaunt family.
"I found out about this yesterday and also when I took the Heirship of the house the Goblin told me about the marriage contract between us, technically not us but the house of Gaunt and Carrow."
Hestia and Flora looked at him and their expression started to change from shocked to happy.
