Our Next Period Begins
Leaving the two out in the hallway since I'm the only person whom Arita-sensei called.
"Arita-sensei.", I called.
Arita-sensei then stopped writing and faced me.
"You're here. But, you're quite late, Okita. Did you eat that long? Look, you only got 6 minutes to spare before your PE class.", Arita-sensei said.
"Sorry, Sensei. I just went somewhere, that's why it took too long.", I said while scratching my head.
"Went where?", Arita-sense asked in confusion.
What do I say?
Do I recap to Arita-sensei what happened to me earlier?
"So—"
"Forget it, don't tell me. You'll be late for your next period. I'll just make it quick.", Arita-sensei interrupted me.
"Um, what is it you want to say, Arita-sensei?", I asked politely.
"It's about the rumors and what's happening to you. Are you okay? Are there people bothering you? There are so many rumors circulating around you, which forced you into this tight spot.", Arita-sensei answered.
"Oh, um, no one really.", I replied.
