Upon examining ED-E, he realized there were several repair options available.

[Options included: a Repair skill of 65, a Science skill of 55 followed by a Repair skill of 35, three pieces of scrap metal, two sensor modules, and one bundle of scrap electronics]

Opting for the materials route, Six set to work on ED-E.

After a deft twist here, the installation of two sensors there, and the final touches with the scrap metal and electronics, ED-E was operational again.

"Eyebot Duraframe Subject E is the prototype as well as the last working model in this series."

Whitley remarked about ED-E.

"So, pal, how about joining me on my journeys across the Mojave?"

Responding with enthusiastic beeps, ED-E resembled an overjoyed puppy. Then, hr received a notification.

[Companion perk Enhanced Sensors installed]

[This perk significantly increases the player character's detection range, equivalent to a perfect Perception score of 10]

"Well, when you look at that you got that thing up and running again. I got it working for a little while, but the darn thing pooped out. I haven't been able to get it up and running again. I was hoping to use it for some courier work, but that ain't gonna happen."

"ED-E You ready to meet the rest of the crew, because they're going to be in for a big surprise"

Leaving he took ED-E, and presented him to the rest of the group. Little Dora was the most excited about meeting the cute little robot who beeped in joy all the time.

He once again distanced himself from the group and headed to the Vikki and Vance Casino, approaching a cashier to exchange his caps for chips. He traded 1,000 caps for an equal number of chips and began playing Blackjack.

Midway through the game, he realized he was winning excessively due to his high luck stat. To balance this, he intentionally played to lose. After losing half his chips, he adopted a more cautious strategy, only raising his bets when close to 21 and avoiding risks that might push him over. This careful play earned him his first prize, a Stealth Boy.

Subsequently, he won a second prize: reinforced leather armor. Continuing the game, he amassed 3,500 caps. Eventually, a receptionist informed him that he was barred from further play at the casino for winning too much. After cashing out, Six rejoined his group and picked up a copy of 'Tales of a Junktown Jerky Vendor.'

The caravan was set to depart within the hour. They left Primm and reached Goodsprings after a few uneventful hours.

Rebecca was eager for action, her trigger finger twitching in anticipation of a skirmish. However, no confrontation arose to alleviate her frustration.

"It's alright, choomba. There's always hope, fingers crossed."

She reassured herself, but to no avail.

Rebecca sulked atop Six's lap, disappointed by the lack of combat. The Super Soldier managed her tantrum as they arrived at the Prospector Saloon. There, his mother Betty disembarked and embraced an elderly man on the saloon's porch. The group quickly gathered around Betty to understand the situation.

"Sorry for the surprise, guys. This is my uncle, Peter Ezekiel. He's my mother's younger brother and the last family member I have."

"Yu'll can call me Easy Pete. I was a prospector until I decided to settle here to escape the NCR. Now, I just take it easy and help out with the Brahmin and Bighorners... What happened, dear?"

Betty began to explain what had happened to her family on their trip.

"Those damned no-good slavers! They'd better be six feet under; if not, there won't be a single piece of them left when I get my hands on them, with my dynamite."

The group was astonished that this old man would blow up people, well, all except a few.

"The name's Six, I guess I'm your great-nephew, and I'm the one who put them six feet under. Get the joke?"

"Hahaha! I'm so funny. Why is nobody laughing?"

Easy Pete asked the group.

"Is he going to be okay?"

"God damn it, guys. I feed you sugar, and you give me Brahmin shit."

Rebecca then jumped on him, giving him a hug.

"Uh, don't worry, Big Guy~ I'll always love you because you're so pretty~"

She kissed his neck, but Six still stormed off into the saloon, carrying Rebecca. Inside, Six met Sunny Smiles and her dog.

"Cheyenne, stay... Don't worry, she won't bite unless I tell her to."

"Well, you don't have to worry about me either. I don't bite unless I'm told to."

A small chuckle escaped Sunny's smiling lips.

"My name's Six, and the little gremlin I'm carrying is Rebecca. So, what's your name, good-looking? Or is it 'angel' because you fell from heaven?"

"Ahhh!!!"

Six screamed as Rebecca bit into his neck. Sunny smirked, unable to contain it, and broke out in laughter.

"My name's Sunny Smiles. I keep the town safe from Radscorpions, Geckos, and coyotes. I also trade in the hides of geckos and anything else I can harvest from my kills."

"It seems you're a solo, sis. Maybe we could join you for some gigs. Hehehehe!"

Sunny raised her eyebrows at Rebecca, not quite grasping her words. She then smiled and led them to the front bar.

"Hello there, youngster. The name's Trudy. I'm sort of the town mom and I enjoy meeting new faces. What brings you to our part of the woods? I heard you folks talking with Easy Pete outside."

"I'm Six, a caravaner. Right now, I'm here to treat my dear Rebecca to a few drinks, and my family and friends are waiting outside."

He then shared the sorrowful tale of his family.

"I hope you're coping, dear. To lose your enterprise and colleagues, and to suffer betrayal—it's a heartbreaking tale."

Trudy teared up.

"Damn, there's never a happy tale in the Wasteland, is there? It's always about tragedy, loss, or enslavement. I despise this place. Why can't we have stories where the hero wins? Where they live happily ever after? But no, we're stuck with this tragic Brahmin nonsense."

Sunny vented until she calmed down.

"We're managing. But could you tell me more about Goodsprings?"

Six interjected, attempting to steer the conversation elsewhere.

"Just up the road, there's a general store run by a guy named Chet. He doesn't stock anything fancy, but he's got the basics. Next door to the gas station is Doc Mitchell, hard to miss. And then there's me."

"If you're looking to wet your whistle, head to the Prospector Saloon. As the bartender, I know everyone in town. Beyond that, there's not much else—just folks trying to make ends meet."

"I took over the saloon seven years ago. Rumor has it the previous owner lived here, but nobody knows who they were."

After a few hours of drinking, he noticed his mother entering. She walked straight to the bar to greet Trudy.

"Son, I'll be spending the day with Uncle Pete, so you've got the day to yourself. But don't you spend it all drinking."

She said.

As Betty left to arrange sleeping quarters for the new arrivals, Six replied.

"I'm figuring out my plans for the day, so give me some space, will you?"

He gestured towards Rebecca, adding.

"Wish me luck, Mom."

He woke up the next morning with the loli in his arm. Six was in love with this world. Ok more in love with his upgrades, since he was literally Captain America, with America's ass. That allowed him to last longer than he would then with his old regular body.

"Maybe I could go, 'Avengers Assemble!' on Caesar's ass. Then boom, he's dead."

Six carefully extricated himself from Rebecca's entwined legs and got off the bed. After stretching, he equipped all his gear and readied himself for the day.

He stealthily took the copy of the Chinese Army: Special Ops Training Manual and left. As he closed the door to Sonny's house, it hit him like a ton of bricks that he hadn't fully utilized his Settlement Builder Workshop and the Engineer (Team Fortress 2) Template.

Chiding himself for his oversight, Six activated the Settlement Builder Workshop, erecting a six-story building complex on Easy Pete's property for his family caravan's new members. He laid Concrete Foundations for the first-floor foundation and constructed the six-story complex entirely from pre-war building structures.

Six realized that purchasing items through the merchant system was cheaper than acquiring them in this world. So, he decided to sell them in this world for a profit, aiming to make his own family caravan the largest in the Mojave.

"Muah ha ha ha ha! Ow, bit my tongue!"

Next stop: the corpses of geckos and any other creature that dares to cross my path.

"The streets will run red with blood."

"Muah ha ha ha ha!"

"Ow, bit my tongue again!"
