Cried out Nora, In anticipation of her child's wellbeing.

"Well, your kid ain't a kid no more."

"What do you mean Six?"

"When Kellogg took Shaun and killed your husband, was a few decades ago. His DNA was used as the key component for the synths we're dealing with today.

"Oh my god, they killed my son!"

"Oh no far worse, Nora! They gave him a job."

"What?"

"Yeah, the Institute trained your son into becoming a diabolical scientist. That soon took over the Institute becoming their leader, known as "Father."

"You're lying! It can't be true! My son would never!"

"Remember Nora, this was over sixty years ago. He's an elderly man now, with so much blood in his hands, that could give me a run for my money."

"Curious about his surviving mother, he releases you from the Cryogenic Pod to see what choices you would make, Nora!"

"Oh, but it gets worse. He's the one that killed everyone in the Vault. And everyone who's been replaced with a synths, if they want killed right away, they were experimented with the FEV turning into Super Mutants, for their research. This was the pet project of the Director, Father. The funny thing is, they weren't even interested in an outcome, they are just blithely gathering data."

"This is probably how the interesting thinks Nora."

Institute Scientist: "Hey, we have cybernetic technology that can extend our lives!"

Father: "SHUT THAT RESEARCH DOWN!"

Institute Scientist: "Uh, why?"

Father: "BECAUSE I SAID SO!"

 Institute Scientist: "Hey, how'd we get this glowing green goo from a military weapons contractor?"

Father: "Never you mind that! Just dip these people and see what happens!"

Institute Scientist: "...They're turning into violent green mountain men..."

Father: "Well, then flush them outside! It's not like they'll be a burden on the humanity up there and we'll be directly contributing to the suffering, misery and societal stagnation of the surface!"

Institute Scientist: "Um... I think they WILL be a burden, and we WILL be directly contributing to all of that."

Father: "YOU'RE FIRED! OUT OF A CANNON! INTO THE SUN! WE'RE THE INSTITUTE! WE CAN DO THAT!"

Institute Scientist: "As a matter of fact, we really cannot."

Father: "Alright, then I'll just have a Courser shoot you."

Courser: "Done and done." *shoots*

Father: "AH! They just waxed my floor!"

Courser: "That's alright, Father. I will have one of the Gen 2s get a broom... I take pride in reducing your enemies to glowing piles of ash."

 Institute Scientist: "So, why are we making a boy version of you as a synth?"

Father: "Never you mind that. It certainly has nothing to do with my cancer prognosis, nor my crippling fear of death..."

Institute Scientist: "So... You're making this boy version of yourself... To give as a gift to your parent that we thawed and is on the surface, doing more work than we ever did to make things better, and is inadvertently wrecking everything we accomplished?

You, uh, planned that from the beginning, did you? It has nothing to do with the fact that you realized too late that uploading your brain into the synth, risky as it is, would just doom you to a life as one of the servile race that we invented, and you'd have to take a long, hard look at how we treat our mechanical slaves?"

Father: "I certainly don't think that. Nobody wrote me dialogue to suggest such a thing. No, I just arbitrarily decided to give up on life, turn over the Institute to a man I barely know due to some nepotist idea that only my bloodline is the right bloodline to lead the Institute, despite all of our statements about how intelligence and merit are our usual deciding factors in such things."

"Oh! Before I forget Nora, if you want to see the little evil shit, that your son became, my minion can take you and give you all the information about his research."

Nora immediately left to find Shaun with Boone at her side. While everyone stayed behind to see what Six has planned for the BOS.

"OK, my loyal companions. Here's how we're dealing with the BOS. First choice, I'll send regiments of my Deathcore Troopers to annihilate all the BOS, this will be a bloodbath with civilians being harmed."

"Second choice, I'll send multiple specialize platoons of minions and droids to cripple their forces and taking them out. Or we could go for the third and my favorite choice. I'll just blow them from orbit with ion turbo lasers."

In the end the group chose the second choice, taking one team each, no matter how much Rebecca wanted "to blow shit up!" with the ion turbo lasers.

"Waaa, haaaah, haaaah! Six! Please let me have those Ion Turbo Laser Canons!"

To stop her pouting, Six gave her a fully loaded Battlestar with a regiment of Deathcore Troopers to deal with Nuka World. She left giddily taking her newborns and handmaids, with their children.

Out of curiosity he used his Awareness perk on them.

Later on in the day, Six and his team were celebrating the preparation in the downfall of the BOS. 

"It's just that from the brief time I've known them, I didn't get the impression that they think in long term about anything!"

Said Six with a voice tress and mocking tone.

"...I don't think the BOS are like that."

Said Piper not believing the BOS are that stupid.

"The thing is, there no easy way to say this, but the BOS is just a military cult of tech fanatics. That only care about take technology by force, with no future thoughts except repeating the cycle."

"Um, you do make a strong point and them harassing and taking tech from. caravanners and traders does not help them. Crap I'm just going to stop defending them!"

Piper put her shoulders down, giving up in the argument.
