Winter Night 1

{2 Nights before Christmas}

You sorted out the boxes of Christmas decorations in Jimin's living room while he searched for a specific box with the tree decorations.

"So did your brother tell you if he had any plans ?"

"Yeah he's staying over at a friends place but he'll be back on Christmas"

Jimin said while rummaging through a box. You nodded and pulled out the Christmas lights from one of the boxes.

"(Y/n) I saw you the other day with a girl is she one of your close friends ?"

You were shocked where did he see you and how did you not see him. He has the most brightest hair color in your current living area.

"Wait where did you see me ?"

"At that crafts store she was wearing ripped jeans and a white thrasher shirt and I think you wore (your outfit)"

Then you remembered who Jimin was talking about. He's talking about Genelly taking you to restock on paint and some new brushes.

"Oh yeah we went to get some supplies for my art stuff"

"What's her name ?"

You cocked up an eyebrow at him and he looked at you analyzing your reaction to his question. Then it finally sunk in and he waved his arms around like saying it's not what you think.

"Uh no not like that I just wanna know about her she seems nice"

His flustered actions made you laugh. You shook your head and continued to untangle the lights.

"Her name is Genelly she's my only other friend beside you and Tae also she's a lesbian"

Jimin choked and his eyes widen, which to your amusement was the reaction you were looking for. He noticed this and tried to move on to a different subject. "How do you know her ?" You looked down at the lights and played with them. "She was my best friend girlfriend two years ago before the collapse"

"Oh.."

That's all he said before closing up the box he had and moved over to another one.

"Me and Taehyung would've loved to meet her you should've invited her to come tonight for a little bit"

"Honestly I wasn't thinking about that but she has plans anyways right now she's with her family"

"Next time then"

Jimin spoke happily as he carried away one of the boxes back to the storage closet. You began wrapping the tree with Christmas lights while Jimin hung some ornaments on it.

Front door opens

You both stopped what you were doing to look over at the door. Taehyung slender figure walked in And sighed in relief once he felt the warmth of the house. He took off his coat and beanie and changed his shoes to some house slippers.

"Looks like you two already started without me"

"Well I mean yeah you were taking a long time to get here"

Jimin whined, you smiled and turned back to your current task when a flash went off. You looked up in the direction it came from and saw Taehyung standing there holding up a camera, he looked down at it to inspect the picture he just took then flipped over the camera to stare at the lens.

"When Did you get the camera ?"

Jimin asked while walking over to him to look at the camera.

"Just bought it as an early Christmas gift to my self I also thought it would come in handy today"

Taehyung looked over at you and a smile stretched on his face. "I also like photography so I've practiced a lot so don't worry you'll look even better than you already do in the pictures" The compliment he gave you made you smile but made Jimin shove him into a pile of boxes.

"(Y/n) always looks good what do you mean even better tch"

You laughed at Jimin's violent behavior toward Tae. Neither of you helped him up after either you two just proceeded with decorating the Christmas tree. An hour later you decided to help Jimin bake some cookies. Taehyung sat at the kitchen table staring at you two working in the kitchen.

"Jimin why can't I help"

"Because you always eat the cookie Dough plus.."

Jimin walked over and whispered into Tae ear

"You never do anything right when you start talking to (y/n) you get way too distracted"

"No way I can concentrate"

You looked back at Tae "says the person who burnt the last batch of cookies last week" Tae laughed in embarrassment and Jimin laughed as well but at Taehyung remembering how he manage to burn the cookies. "You were talking about the project we're working on in a completely different room from the kitchen so yeah I forgot".

Jimin leaned on the counter and you did the same you both stared at Tae until he gave in.

"Okay fine you two can do it alone"

"Thank you"

Jimin chimed in proudly feeling accomplished.

~(y/n) pov~

We finished the cooking and placed them in the oven. So I took the time to sit and relax before Jimin could think of anything else we could do before watching some movies. I pulled out my phone, I haven't gotten any calls or texts from my family at all since the day I kicked them out. I honestly feel bad for doing that to them but that's just how I felt so I had to do it. I turned back off my phone and Jimin came over and sat next to me Tae walking in shortly after.

"We have anything else to do ?"

"Nope so we can watch a movie but we gotta keep track of the cookies I don't wanna end up like Tae with burnt cookies and shame"

"Haha your not funny Jimin"

"Yeah yeah chef burnt"

Again the two went off with the sarcastic remarks to each other. Which I wasn't apart of again so I just sat and watched. This time Taehyung gave into Jimin.

"I'm gonna set the timer"

"Okay"

"Got it Gordon Ramsey"

Jimin rolled his eyes and left walking into kitchen leaving me and Tae. I reached for the remote to put on Netflix.

"What you wanna watch ?"

"I'll watch anything you or Jimin pick It doesn't matter to me"

"Well then I'm choosing"

Jimin skipped over to me and I handed him the controller so he could pick a movie. He sat between the two of us and pulled his feet up on the couch. He scrolled through the options and decided to put on Grown ups. I looked down at the coffee table and Tae camera was there. I picked it up and turned it on Turning to face the two of them. I snapped a picture of the two while they concentrated on the movie. I looked down at the picture and smiled at it I looked back up to snap a next one and Tae and I locked eyes.

"Smile"

Is all I said before snapping a next picture, he gave me put up the peace sign and rest it on his right cheek under his eye. Jimin noticed and put up two peace signs grinning ear to ear. I snapped the picture and looked at it, I smiled at the picture and handed it over to Jimin so they could see the pictures.

"I actually don't look bad in these"

"You know men don't check their selfies and pictures like that"

"I'm sorry Is that too feminine ?"

Jimin questioned Taehyung in a sarcastic tone. I crossed my arms over my chest and sat back to listen to this discussion the two were going to have now.

"Well guys don't really do that it's mostly girls"

"Well I break a lot of gender norms"

"I'm pretty sure we noticed that by now"

Taehyung said while sitting back to look at the TV. Jimin looked over at me as if expecting me to add something to the conversation but I just shrugged.

"Again not my argument but I can say though that stuff honestly doesn't matter to me now a days"

Jimin smiled at me and turned his focus back to the TV.

{Later That Night}

I changed into my pajamas and went back to the living room. Jimin was in his bathroom still so Taehyung was out here alone. I walked over to him and he looked up from his phone.

"You sleeping out here ?"

"It is a fold out bed so yeah"

"I was actually planning on sleeping out here"

"You two are gonna share a bed right ?"

"Yeah"

I nodded and sat on the couch next to him.

"Hey (y/n)"

"Yeah ?"

"How would you feel about attending the art university"

I looked at Tae and his eyes were glued to his phone screen. I thought about it for a bit and looked at the TV that was playing the nightmare before Christmas.

"I don't like pressure I tend to break under pressure even if it's a little"

"Everyone breaks under pressure"

He shut off his phone and rested it on the coffee table to look at me now.

"You just gotta learn how to cope with it"

I avoided his gaze to looked at my hands on my lap.

"I guess....but I kinda don't feel the motivation to be in college it's not the type of environment I'm comfortable in"

His face brighten up as he scooted closer to me.

"Well that's what me and Jimin are here for to help you with well mostly me since I'll be on the campus with you"

The thought of it is actually kinda nice, but I'm not sure if I wanna do that. "I don't knowww"

Taehyung looked at his ring on his finger playing with it. "Why do you want me to go so badly you've asked me this At least four times already if I can remember properly" Taehyung smiled to himself and looked back at me.

"Well first off your really good at what you do and two I feel like-"

"Okay time to fix (y/n)'s bed so she can sleep on it"

Taehyung was cut off by Jimin giving him instructions. I looked over at Jimin and he threw some sheets and a pillow at me.

"Did I interrupt something ?"

"Oh no I was just telling her how much I wanted her to come to the university"

I looked over and Taehyung puzzled at his response to Jimin. He surely was gonna say something else so what was it. But instead of badgering him I just left it alone and fixed my bed after I went into the kitchen for some cookies.

"(Y/n) tell me about your job"

"Huh ?"

I spun around and Jimin was in the kitchen door frame standing there.

"That was kinda sudden"

"Sorry"

I picked up a cookie and took a bite out of it. Jimin continued "earlier we talked about jobs but you never talked about yours so what is it ?"

"Well I sell my art online I also do requested art works for money"

"You probably get a lot of money"

"I guess I don't set the bar or price on something unless I feel like I have to most of the time buyers negotiate a price with me"

Jimin nodded and I finished up my cookie opening up the fridge for something to drink.

"oh also about what Taehyung said to you earlier about the university.."

"yeah ?"

"I think you should go plus you could be around at least one of us a lot more"

"I'll think about it"

"okay and I think I'm gonna go to bed early tonight my partner wants to meet up early tomorrow to discuss something so it'll be just you and Tae for a bit"

I nodded and he smiled picking up the plate of cookies walking into living room. I got my self something to drink and joined the two on my bed to watch the movie.

{10:30 pm}

I looked down at my phone when the screen lit up it was almost 11. So I looked over at jimin who was sleeping comfortably on his side of my bed, I glanced over to Taehyung and he was also asleep comfortably on his side of my bed. I carefully fixed jimin sheet and Tae sheet over them before sliding off the bed and walking down to jimins room.

"(y/n) You okay ?"

My body stopped dead in it tracks when I heard a low raspy voice call out to me. I turned my body to the side and looked back at Taehyung who was sitting up slightly as he squinted in the dimly lit room trying to see my face. I turned my body completely to face him.

"yeah I'm fine I just decided to sleep in jimins bed since you two fell asleep there"

He stared at me for a bit then picked up a pillow handing it to me with my sheet that I left there

"don't forget this or you'll be cold and uncomfortable"

I walked over to him and took the pillow and sheet from him while he gave me a very sleepy smile laying back down. "goodnight (y/n)" I looked back at him and he seemed to go straight back to sleep so I whispered back. "goodnight Tae" and went to jimins room to get some sleep.
