Her Father Knows

After meeting Virly, Shane immediately went to campus. He was worried about Jade who didn't respond to Virly's message at all. He tried to see the campus situation during his trip. Luckily nothing happened to her, but it was just her feelings that were so worried.

Never before had Jade been this angry with him. Unlike when Jade was angry with Max, he preferred debate. But with him, Jade even just kept quiet and left a note telling him that he was on campus early.

His breath hitched as he entered the classroom and approached Jade who was silently reading a book. Jade looked straight at him. "What is it?" Jade asked.

"Virly texted you, why didn't you reply?" Shane asked. "I only saw him because he went to headquarters alone to meet Hans."

One eyebrow raised and then he took his cell phone in his bag. "Gosh, I really don't know if there's a message from him. I haven't had my phone in my hand since. Then what? How did he know the base?"
