A Pact with the Devil

Her mind was still fuzzy after a few days. She became more protective of Eve after she had a bad dream. She made her husband worried as well. Her mental health isn't healthy as before. It was probably the cause of what she did. Trying to kill Vera in her mind.

"The house seemed so quiet." She said.

"You stop taking care of yourself. Your lips are dry. Darling," he took a bottle of water and handed it to her. "Darling, stop doing this to yourself."

"I'm sorry." She mumbled and took a sip then another and another. "I didn't realize the time." She reached for his hands. "I've been having nightmares. I can't even leave our baby."
