What Would You Do?

Something came into view that startled the inexperienced mercenaries of the party.

"That's… moonlight?" Nelphy asked aloud for the whole party to hear.

No one verbally replied, but Bolton and Zac nodded. Then, all at once, that simple view of moonlight stretching out into the dark expanse of Canyon Cavern filled the party with serenity. Without thinking, they gradually picked up the pace in order to breathe the fresh air and see the night sky all the sooner. 

"We're out!" shouted Willo, so ecstatic that she jumped for joy the moment the brisk, night breeze touched her skin. 

Everyone celebrated in their own ways, with some moving and jumping around with excitement while others sat or laid down immediately. 

Moments later, the guards stationed near the ruin's entrance approached the party. They found the captain and asked, "What's there to report?"
