Jash's First, True Battle

Bows were drawn and arrows started ripping through the air from both sides.

"Focus on the advancing regiment!" Feerah ordered. 

Four battalions of lightning archers fired relentlessly at the invading regiment. But despite having the advantage of being stationary, the archers on the wall struggled to hit the charging regiment, almost as much as the archers below struggled to keep their aim true while both charging the wall and evading incoming arrows. 

Sighing, Nadon read the unfolding battlefield like was an old war journal, "A gust regiment, one of Briston's special units used almost exclusively for sieges. They may only have six and a half regiments, but they brought some of their most specialized forces to boot. These strange political and martial strategies… they're practically Falix's handwriting.

"Ribard. Bolton. Get ready."

Both men smiled and raised their hands, signaling for their troops to draw their weapons.
