Inferior But Still Fighting

Tiny bolts of electricity flew off the flying dagger as it drew close. But the man's lunging attack was directly behind it.

So Jash made a choice.

Jash took another step closer, lunging forward as well, to meet the man at his own pace instead of being pushed back. This let Jash lower his chest, causing the dagger to miss his heart and instead cut into his shoulder. The numbing effect was far more potent than when he had blocked the rogue upstairs, but Jash powered through it so at least his current attack wouldn't be affected.
