Chateau Staff Moving Forward...

A moment ago, silence permeated the central district out of respect and pride for their city lord. Now, the only sounds of the audience came from incomplete stammers and shaking footsteps.

Ayjen and Orsen were both caught up in that mess of swirling emotions. Especially Orsen, who recalled his first time meeting Zac. Even worse, that encounter was also their first-ever argument.

Kriff and Willo also wore stunned expressions. Though, that was in great part to how the Lightning Lord chose to introduce his long-hidden son.

Jash was one of the few people not too wrapped up in the moment. Mostly because someone nudged her way through the crowd to squeeze onto the bench beside Jash.

"Where were you last night?" he asked in a hushed tone.

Nelphy shared a light, embarrassed smile. "I'll tell you later. We won't want to miss this."
