Camping Near the Target

"Oh, these will last us till we find the target," Bil stated. "I can make sure of that. I brought some veggies and enough water to stew these for dinner. But let's get further into the hills before we get that started."

Nodding, Zac agreed. "Right. Then we'll continue heading northwest. If we do that, then we should eventually find the beast's territory."

Nelphy and Bil followed their leader as they moved at the perfect pace. It wasn't too fast to exhaust Nelphy, but it wasn't so slow that it would drag out the trip. However, they stopped to set up camp after nightfall before they reached their target's marked territory.

The smell of rabbit stew was intoxicating to the hungry party. So Zac scouted out the surrounding area while Nelphy helped Bil in order to speed things up. But Zac eventually returned with a sunken expression on his face.

"Bil, Nelphy. There was another camp not too far from here…" Zac sighed.
