The city of Frantoch grew quiet under the cloudless night sky. Moonlight bore down on the entire region with stupendous beauty. 

But only one person was watching it. 

"Strange, huh? How the world will keep existing in its beauty no matter how much we war and battle."

Hearing that comment, the masked guard averted his gaze from the night sky, looking back at the guild master with a nod. 

Alone atop the wall, a silent seal appeared around them both. Nadon smiled at the masked young man. "Don't worry. We'll get through this, Zac. I doubt your dad wants to lose a simple footrace against anyone."

Zac laughed from under his mask, "Thanks, Uncle…" 

Seeing that Zac's body language hadn't changed much, Nadon asked, "What's up? Is this about the girl?"

"She's fine."

Nadon stepped closer and chuckled, resting a hand on his nephew's shoulder, "In that case… What happened? Did you lose your virginity?"

"I…"
