Leon sat in the back seat very quietly playing with his new robot toy. While Isana and Gary sat in the front, they were seen having small talk.

"How about going to the restaurant where we first met?" asked Gary for an idea. While his hands were busy holding the steering wheel and his eyes were straight on the road.

"That is a good idea. But why do I suddenly feel bad? Gary, did you do it to have a farewell? I mean are you going overseas to do a photoshoot or something?" Isana chuckles embarrassed, while her words are confused.

Gary had never done anything romantic before and that bothered Isana quite a bit. What's wrong with her husband lately?

Has Gary repented?

For a moment, Gary was silent contemplating Isana's words which happened to be true. Gary didn't know why he would do it so willingly. Maybe it was because Gary was bored, he thought to himself.

"It's only natural that I do what a husband should do. Isana, you and Leon are the only family I have and maybe you don't know how precious you two are.

I've been treating you guys badly in the past. Even I can't help financially all this time and it makes me seem useless as a man who is the head of the family.

Isana, back then… I mean that time when we first met at the restaurant, did you know that I was actually in a very bad state? Losing the crisis of self-confidence as a man due to the abandonment of the family?" Gary lied a little.

Apart from the reason for their first meeting, if Gary was devastated because he realized the big difference between himself and the Meyer family. It's true if Gary and Winola have a more serious relationship for the last seven years but in reality, they have known each other since high school.

Since high school, Winola has been known as a teenage actress and at that time Gary was a big admirer. Winola, who was still in first grade at that time, while Gary was about to graduate from high school. On Valentine's Day, Gary ventured to express his love.

Malang can't be denied when Winola accepts Gary's love but can't introduce it to his family because Gary's social status is just an ordinary child. It made Gary hit for some time until Winola gave an option that is to play through the back lane.

And from that day on, Gary became the main emotional supporter of a teenage actress named Winola Meyer. Until in the end, seven years ago their relationship has grown as a pair of dark lovers.

Of course, Gary was not blinded by his love for Winola alone. Because whatever Gary does will not change his fate for him to be Winola's husband who the Meyer family can acknowledge unless you are a descendant of a conglomerate.

In that heart, Gary who was in a slump met his angel, Isana.

"You never said more than what you wanted to say all this time, sorry if I didn't know that. But now you have us both so don't be sad anymore. Let's continue to live together. Aren't we both orphans too?" whispered Isana touched.

Overall, Isana is an example of a very kind and understanding city girl that Gary has ever met. However, Isana's angelic tenderness makes Gary bored and looks for new challenges by having an affair with Winola.

Surprisingly, Gary couldn't feel guilty. Precisely for Gary is a big achievement in his life to have Winola in his arms while living a simple life with Isana. Gary had been crazy from the start, Isana's presence for him wasn't enough to wake him up.

"Right. Thank you, dear. You are very understanding." Gary replied when they had entered the parking lot of the restaurant they were going to.

It wasn't the expensive and classy restaurant that Gary used to go to with Winola. The restaurant is just an ordinary family restaurant which will always be crowded on weekends, especially at night.

Lucky for them they can still get a seat by the window facing the highway. The spot that Leon likes because the boy can see a variety of four-wheeled vehicles passing on the highway.

"Order some food, I have to go to the toilet for a bit," Isana said then went towards the back of the restaurant.

In the toilet, Isana sobbed happily. Even though it's his birthday tomorrow and Gary is taking the three of him out to dinner because tomorrow Gary will take Winola out of town all day, Isana is no more grateful because Gary still cares about his family.

Previously, Isana had despaired when she saw Gary was always gloomy and looked unhappy. Gary is a father and even though Leon is a child, he is quite understanding when there is a problem with his father. Of course, Leon only told that to his mother, Isana.

At that time, Isana could only pray that Gary could be a good example for their son. Or maybe Isana's desire was too much because Gary was basically in trouble.

Being in debt for years naturally made one feel like a living undead without hope and enthusiasm. Isana understands, if Isana can do is give more space and less responsibility to Gary.

However, today Isana was deeply touched by Gary's little care. Or the overly naive Isana with Gary's true ulterior motives.

"Honey, what took you so long?" Gary asked when he found Isana suddenly appearing after fifteen minutes.

"Sorry, I had a little stomachache. And the toilet was full. Coming to this place for so many years makes me nervous. Gary, did you take me on purpose to reminisce, or did I go too far?" replied Isana, sitting opposite each other while Leon was still calmly looking at the highway.

Gary was stunned to realize how simple Isana's thinking was.

"I can't think of much. First, this place is the only thing that comes to mind. Second, the prices at this place are not too expensive so we can order a lot of menus to celebrate your birthday. Is that enough?" said Gary at last.

"Thank you, dear. Already brought us to this place. I am very happy." Isana said honestly, then kissed Gary's forehead after that.
