Aftermath: High Profits

(Jason's POV)

"Jason!!" Gray called out to me, "Holy shit, man, that was crazy!!!" 

I shrugged, "It was alright." 

I was inside the infirmary room, sitting on the bed as I bandaged my arm up. I had gone to where Natsu was and healed him to prevent him from being in a critical condition. I had then made my way back to my room to heal up. 

It was a really crazy fight If I say so myself. I'm quite surprised that Natsu did all that. He's clearly gotten stronger. 

Gray chuckled, "Come on man, you had me at the edge of my seat." Gray said, "Everyone is talking about it even now." 

I smiled slightly, "That's nice." 

I saw as the door opened and Igora walked in while crossing her arms. 

"Seems to me you had fun." Igora said as she approached us, "That was quite reckless, Jason. Feeding the boy that kind of power." 

I shrugged, "Meh." I said, "I had it handled." 

"Mhm..." Igora said, "You also could've killed him." 

"He was doing fine." I said, "I healed him. He's taking a nice little nap right now." 

"Yea, he's out of it right now." Gray said, "Man, you gave everyone a hell of a show.." 

I chuckled, "That was the plan." I said standing up, "Now...where's Mavis?" 

He raised an eyebrow, "The First?" He said, "Why'd you ask?" 

I smiled and patted him on the shoulder, "She and I gotta talk." I said walking past him, "Igora, come." 

I then walked out of the room.

"Jason." I heard Kagura call out for me

I was outside of the arena, about an hour or two after the fight ended. I was looking for Mavis when I ended up outside but I couldn't see where she was. 

I turned to see Kagura walking up to me, her Mermaid Heel companions right behind her. 

"Oh hey." I said with a smile

"That was quite the fight." She said with a soft smile

I nodded, "Yea." I said, "It was." 

She then frowned, "How come you didn't tell me you wield gravity magic?" She asked

I rubbed my head, "Haha..." I said, "You kinda didn't ask..." 

"I swear..." She said, "Well, I wanted to congratulate you. Hopefully you're up for a....uhm....c-coffee? Later?" 

I looked at her, "Oh?' I said, "Coffee?"

She blushed, "Y-Yea..." She said looking away, "Coffee..." 

I chuckled, "Sure, if I have time.." I said patting her shoulder gently, "I'm gonna be busy after today, so.....I'll give you a call...." 

She nodded, "That'll work..." She said, "Uhm...goodbye, I have to meet up with Erza..." 

She then walked past me as I watched her and her companions walk away. 

"Wow." I heard Igora say, "That fine woman really has a thing for you..." 

I looked at her, "You think so?" I asked

She nodded, "Oh yea..." She said with a slick smile, "She does." 

I chuckled, "Is that so?" 

Before she could answer I heard a voice call out, "Jason." 

I turned to see Makarov standing there. 

"Oh, sup." I said 

He then walked up to me, "I have business to attend to." He said, "But here. These are your earnings for today's event." 

He handed me an envelope, it was pretty thick.

"Oh?" I said, "Was it that good?" 

Makarov nodded, "Yes." He said, "The Magic Council and the Royal Family say that it did so good they want to host the next event in Crocus. I told them I'll let you know." 

The Domus Flau, eh? That sounds too crazy, damn.

"Cool." I said

"Oh and something else." He said, "Next time you fight that fool, go easy on him, will ya?" 

I chuckled, "Sure." 

He then walked past me and left. 

Igora looked at me, "So..." She said, "You wanna tell me the truth? Why you really do this? Aside from the money." 

I looked at her, "Not here." I said, "But I will." 

"Okay." Igora said, "I'll take you up on that. Now, we have business to attend to." 

"Yep." I said

She was referring to the mission to find Silver. I fully intended for that to happen now. I was going to find him. 

"Jason." I heard a voice call out

I turned to see the Princess walk up to me, with Kamika and Cosmos behind her. 

"Oh..." I said, "Princess!!" 

As she reached me, Hisui smiled brightly while blushing slightly. 

"How're you doing?" I asked

"Good." She said before bowing slightly, "I'd like to apologize personally for the incident caused by one of my subordinates. I know it was a while ago, but regardless, I am sorry!" 

"Oh no no no!" I said, "Its fine!" 

She then looked at me, "I-If you say so.." 

"This is the Princess of this country?" Igora asked, "She's quite the beauty." 

I took a step back and gestured at Igora, "Princess Hisui, this is Igora, my companion." I said, "Igora, this here is Princess Hisui." 

Igora approached her and knelt down, "Princess." She said, "It is my honor to meet you. I, Igora The Wrath, vow to not cause your country any troubles." 

"Oh.." Hisui said, "Y-You don't have to do that..." 

Igora then stood up, "Jason, your princess is really nice." she said, "Back in my day, royalty would throw a fit if we didn't kneel."

I nodded, "I Know." I said, "So, Princess, what you up to?" 

Hisui blushed and looked away, "Well...." she said scratching her cheek, "The thing is..." 

"Say no more." i said, "I'll do it." 

Hisui looked at me, "E-Eh?"

Igora looked at me as well, "What?" 

I looked at Igora, "Sorry, but the Princess needs me." I said seriously, "I'll delay our embarking till tomorrow. Besides, I'm a bit spent from fighting, Igora, you'd understand." 

"Let a guy rest a bit...."
