RETURN!

"Oh man the fairy tail guild hall, It's good to be back. Oi everyone I'm back! marco said as he opened the guild hall.

" Hey Marco welcome back man. How did the job go?" Natsu asked Marco.

" Went topside really fast man, but that dark guild won't be bothering anyone ever again. The town was real nice about the rewards I even got it doubled so all in all not bad."

" Is that right?"

" Oh what's up gray." Marco said to the ice wizard.

" Not much man just got back from that idiot over ther-" Gray was cut off as natsu threw a chair at him. " HEY! What was that for?"

" That's for calling me an idiot!" Natsu yelled at gray.

" You wanna fight fire breath?" Gray said getting in natsus face.

" What did you say Ice boy?" Natsu said leaning into him before.

Crash

Marco hit both of them over the top of their heads. " Knock it off you two I'm tired." Marco said to the two wizards.

" Yes sir!" They both said seeing stars.

" Welcome home marco. I'm glad to see you're alright." Mira said to the man.

" oh hey mira! How have you been since I've been gone?"

" Things have been about the same as always. Oh! I should probably tell you, the master is away for a conference so if you want you can turn in your report for the mission to me."

" Is that right? Well for now I'm gonna rest a little. Do me a favor and wake me up in a bit." Marco said to mira as he jumped up into the rafters of the guild hall taking this moment to get some sleep after a few days of non-stop flying and fighting.

Marco rested, sleeping in the rafters of the guild hall until Loke ran in delivering shocking news that scared the guild.

" BAD NEWS! Its' ERZA SHE"S ON HER WAY HERE!" Loke yelled waking Marco from his slumber.

" Hmm who's Erza?" Marco asked mirajane as he hoped down from the rafters, Taking notice of the expressions of his guild mates. Even natsu and gray looked like they had seen a ghost.

" Wow just mention erza and the whole place freaks out." Lucy said

" Well she is the strongest female wizard we got in fairy tail, more than a bit intimidating." Mira replied to both Marco and lucy.

Suddenly the guild hall quieted and foot steps could be heard.

" That's gotta be her" the female wizard Laki said.

" Those sound like her footsteps." Wakaba said in fear.

" Even the air has gone completely still." Macao said

" Jeez by these reactions you would think she's some kind of demon or something." Lucy said as she envisioned a demon. " Ahh I'm so scared!" She said finishing her vision.

" I have returned, where is master makarov?" The scarlet haired erza said placing down a giant decorated horn beside her.

" Welcome back erza, the master is at a conference right now." Mira said to erza

" I see!" Erza replied.

" So uh what's that humongous thing you got there. the sand wizard Max asked erza

" It's the horn of a monster I defeated. The locals were so grateful they decorated it and gave it to me as a souvenir. Do you have a problem with it?" Erza asked the others

" No! Not at all!" They yelled in terror.

" Now listen up! While I was on the road I heard a few things. Word is fairy tail is causing nothing, but trouble as of late. Master makarov may not care, but I certainly do. Cana you need to start controlling your drinking." Erza said to cana as the woman nearly choked on her booze. " Vegitor please take the dancing outside, Wakaba get rid of that filthy habit, Nab I suspected I'd find you dawdling in front of the request board Just pick a job." She said as they all looked at her in fear " Macao!"

" Please just say something!" Macao says in fear.

" I don't even know where to begin with you. You've caused so much trouble I've almost given up." Erza said face palming herself.

Jesus this girl is really tearing into these guys Marco thought to himself..

" Are natsu and gray here?" erza asked

"Tadah!"

" Oh hey there erza, We're just hanging out like two friends do." Gray said as he and natsu had their arms around each other sweating profusely

" Aye!" Was all natsu could say. Talking like happy now.

" I'm quite pleased to see you two getting along so well, but it's natural for even the best of friends to lock horns every now and again." Erza said happy at their friendship.

" I don't know if we're the best of friends." Gray said as natsu once again replied with " Aye!"

" What's gotten into natsu!" Lucy asked.

" He's scared! A few years ago he challenged erza to a fight and she beat him up pretty bad." Mira said answering lucy.

" After that she found gray walking around naked and decided to beat him up too." Macao said as well.

" And let's not forget she beat up loke for trying to hit on her. He totally deserved it though." Cana said to lucy.

" Yeah I can't say I blame her." Lucy added.

" Whoa you two are really afraid of red over there huh?" Marco said making fun of the two wizards.

The two wizards simply turned pale and stared at their new friend as erza fist closed in his face.

" Oh no Erza don't kill him!" Natsu yelled

However before the fist connected with on his face Marco grabbed Erzas hand stopping the attack from hitting him.

" Oi Oi It's not nice to hit people ya know." Marco said to erza smiling.

" Oh you're strong." Erza said to the new guy. " What's your name?"

" Marco." simply replying with his name before laughing.

The others in the guild simply couldn't help but stare at the man.

" no way he stopped erza!"

" I thought that was impossible."

" not even natsu could do that."

Murmuring began around the guild hall as the members watched the exchange between the two wizards.

" You're right! That was very rude of m Marco. Allow me to apologize and properly welcome you to the guild." Erza said to marco holding her hand out with a smile on her face.

" Oi Oi don't mention it erza. I wasn't trying to offend you. I only wanted to make fun of natsu and gray." Marco said as he laughed shaking her hand.

" Alright now, Natsu! Gray! I need you to do me a favor. While traveling I heard something that has me worried, normally I would consult with the master, but he's not here and this is a matter of upmost urgency. You two are some of the strongest wizards here. I could really use your help." erza said as the guild hall once again became shocked. " I will meet you at the train station tomorrow morning."

" Me and natsu." Gray said " On the same team!" Natsu said

Whoa those three on the same team now that would be a challenge for even the strongest of wizards. Marco thought to himself with a grin on his face.

Once everything settled down in the guild hall Marco returned to the bar with mira.

" How can I help you Marco?" Mira asked with a smile.

" Hey mira can I get a beer please?

" Sure marco coming right up."

" Thank you mira."

" No problem Marco. While i got you here is it ok if I ask you for a favor?" Mira said handing marco his drink.

" For you Mira anything. What's up?" Marco said as he began chugging.

" Do you think you could go with them tomorrow. I just don't want them to get in any trouble that could get them really hurt."

" Oh man I walked into this one. Alright mira I'll back them up tomorrow, but I don't really think they need it. Marco said as he finished up his beer.

" Thank you marco." Mira said with a smile

" Oi Oi No need to go making me blush now." Marco said laughing while hiding his blush. " Alright I'm gonna try to find an apartment so I'll see you later Mira."

" Alright goodbye Marco!" Mira said again with a smile on her face.

Magnolia

" Oh man I really need to find an apartment. Oh! Is that lucy. Hey Lucy!" Marco called out to the blonde getting her attention.

" Oh hey Marco what's up?"

" You wouldn't happen to know a place that's renting do you?"

" Oh yeah! you can follow me to my place. The landlady there has apartments for sell now."

" Thanks lucy! I appreciate it."

Lucy showed marco to the land lady renting out apartments and purchased a room from her. After settling down, Marco rested to prepare for the day ahead.

" Ahhh, It's been so long since I've slept in a bed. Guess I should res up for tomorrow, though hopefully I won't have to do much." Marco said before finally going to sleep.
