Standing inside the dark space, Ur frowned when she saw that the range of her sight is only 10 meters around her, so the first thing she did is to make some defenses.

"Ice make: Tower!"

A blue tower rose from the ground and she stood at the top to defend herself from any attack that may face her.

Then beams of light attacked her and she kept blocking them with walls, But as time went on she realized that she can't just be passively attacked like this.

So she released some counter-attacks in the direction of the beam of light that attacked her, but no sound ever traveled back to her, as if the darkness swallowed all of her attacks.

As time went on, with her attacks having no visible effects whatsoever, and coupler with the eerie whistle that sounded from time to time, her mind grew more disoriented as the battle went on.

Her attacks grew more disarray as time passed, and even made irrational decisions, but she still defends herself with great power.

Lyon and Gray who were inside the barrier were shouting with all their might as they watched the battle.

"Ur-sensei! Snap out of the illusion, The magic is affecting your senses, you must come out of it, Ur-Sensei!"

"Snap out of it Ur-Sensei!"

In the battle area that no longer retained its original shape with pieces of ice everywhere, on the four sides of Ur stood 8 puppets each in a strange formation.

A huge Lynx made of energy stood where the puppets are located, with the puppets being protected inside the energy body.

Every time various bodies of ice attacked the huge Lynx, it will only make ripples on the body and not cause any substantial damage at all.

And every time the huge Lynx attack it will condense into huge beams that attack Ur, but will always end up being blocked by huge Ice shields.

This is the most terrifying aspect of the array formed by the midnight masquerade, other than limiting your vision, the array will subtly influence your emotions and senses.

The array influenced Ur to only attack within the defending capacity of the Lynx array outside so that they won't shatter.

If not how else could the strong man in the murals use this array to fight against a group of people with the same strength as him?

And this is just an array formed by the lowest in the chaste system of Midnight masquerade, how strong will the array be with the strongest raven puppet as the core?

Slowly as Ur became more and more disarrayed and becoming more irrational, John decided that it's time to end this battle.

He paused that attack of the array and have them gather in front of Ur, with the Wind Tiger puppet as the core, the 35 puppets formed an array together.

A huge Wind Tiger appeared in front of Ur's Tower, It then started to charge it's attack as circles of green light gathered in it's mouth.

When the energy fully saturated, a huge green cyclone emerged from the wind tiger's mouth and flew toward Ur.

Sensing the danger, Ur woke up from the state she was in, and without any time to react, her body instinctively reacted and did her stance.

"Ice make: Rose Garden!"

Huge purple ice roses grew from the ground in front of kept intertwining in front to block the huge cyclone that is roaring toward Ur.

The cyclone destroyed the roses until the final three layers of roses in front of Ur.

Ur panted as she looked around, but all she saw was darkness and she never heard anything, but she felt that something attacked her roses and destroyed everything until the last 3 layers.

The last rose garden plus all the attacks she used when she was confused just now cost her a lot, and she doesn't have much magic energy left.

While looking at the darkness around her, she came up with an idea, although everything around her is dark, and she can never pinpoint the area where John is hiding.

But if she used a large scale ice make magic that can cover their whole battle field, then John is sure to be hit by this attack.

Ice geyser will surely hit but the damage done will be lower and the consumption is too high on a battle field like this, good thing she has one spell that can do what she wanted.

As she put on her stance again and started mobilizing the rest of the energy she had left, she slammed her fist on the ground as a huge ice blue magic circle appeared.

This magic circle covered the entire area where John and Ur was fighting on, John has a bad premonition as he looked at the magic circle.

He quickly arrange the shield totems to combine and guard the area below him, while ordering the Wind tiger array to attack Ur.

But he only had the time to arrange the shield totems to block his underneath when he heard Ur shouting.

"Ice make: Ice Volcano!"
