Percival sat down and started enjoying the party. That was what it looked like as he drank and called for meat but everyone there knew Alaric had the upper hand.
"What are you going to do now?" Belialthorn asked Alaric. The blood on him had dried but it painted him like a butcher, but he didn't mind that.
"We should sell our things," Alaric said. "Selling and gaining money is my next move."
"The merchants?"
"Better to sell it to them than the Hunter's Association." The merchants buy monsters' bodies but at a far lesser amount than the Hunter's Association. Then they sell it to the Hunter's Association at a profitable amount.
Technically there was supposed to be a branch of the Hunter's Association everywhere but in some cities or towns, the Hunter's Association was shunned, since they had been known to dominate. The lord of such a city might not trust them enough.
