"Was this because of the attack?" I frowned as Demyan ran his hand down his face to wipe away his tears. His face had become redder and I could tell he was trying to keep his emotions at bay so Belli would not notice but it was difficult for him. "You can talk to me Demyan, it's alright. We can take a walk if you don't want to upset Belli."

He closed his eyes and let out a breath before he nodded, "Please."

I placed my coffee down and quickly went to Belli to tell her I would be right back. Her and her guard were in an intense game of hopscotch so she was quick to wave me away with her little chubby hand before she gave me a hug. She was highly competitive for a baby just like me.
