Strawberry Kind of Guy

Ethan

Malia came back with two plates that had large sandwiches, fries and a waiter followed her with a large chocolate milkshake and a strawberry one. She plopped a plate in front of me and the strawberry milkshake before she took the seat opposite me.

"I got you food anyway and a milkshake. I don't know if you like strawberries but you looked like a strawberry kind of guy," she beamed.

I smiled at her, "You didn't have to."

"You have that 'I'm hungry' look on your face, it would be cruel if I didn't," she playfully winked before she took a massive bite out of her sandwich.

I could not help but chuckle slightly as I took a sip of the milkshake then started eating as well. We did not say much to each other as we ate. I was surprised to find there was no awkward tension between us. She just seemed light and easy going, nothing like me who was always stressing, planning and organising.
