It was a beautiful day, the sun was shining, and students are entering the school of magic: Ilvermorny.

If you don't know about Ilvermorny, it's a school of magic in America, but instead there are just witches and wizards, there are also faes since it's apart of my canon.

Most of the people in the Ilvermorny are half faes, half witches, and half wizards.

The houses are Wampus which is the body, Pukwudgie is the heart, and Thunderbird is the soul. Also Horned Serpent favors scholars, Wampus, warriors, Pukwudgie, healers and Thunderbird, adventurers.'

So, we are going to start with the sorting ceremony.

A female professor who has long black hair, white skin, wearing a red robe named Leah Gold is welcoming the students as they enter the room.

Once the students are gathered, the headperson gets up with a wizard, a fae, and Professor Gold walks to the wizards stand beside him.

The wizard is Ed Littletree, a man who has short brown hair, brown skin, wearing a silver robe.

The fae is Arther Locks, a man who has short blonde hair with black highlights, white skin, wearing a light blue robe.

The Headperson is Cloud Rose, they have long platinum hair, brown skin, wearing a green robe.

Also, the reason I put headperson because they are non-binary, so rejoice that in this tale there is good lgbtq + representation and don't worry that is will only be the plot line, so don't worry.

Anyway, Cloud Rose gets out a list of students and calls the student 'Shelby Hoganis'.

Shelby Hoganis is revealed to be a 11-year-old boy who has long blonde hair, white skin, wearing a robe.

Shelby stands on the symbol of the Gordian Knot set into the middle of the stone.

In silence the school then waits for the enchanted carvings to react.

The crystal on the Horned Serpent lights up.

The students clapped

Shelby led to the corner by a Fuzzballspark.

A ring glows under Shelby's feet and stops glowing.

"Leos Sands", said Headperson Cloud.

Leos Sands is revealed to be a 11-year-old boy who has curly ginger hair, white skin, wearing a robe.

Leos looks nervous, and stands on the symbol of the Gordian Knot.

The Wampus roars.

Some of the students looked scared and others looked interested.

A ferret led Leos to a different corner.

"Fay Brevil-Thornheart", said Headperson Cloud.

Fay is revealed to be a 11-year-old girl/fae who has long black hair, brown skin, wearing a robe.

Fay walks on the symbol of the Gordian Knot.

The Pukwudgie raises its arrow into the air.

A toad hops to Fay and leads her to the third corner.

"Ethel Queen-Chalice", said Headperson Cloud.

Ethel is revealed to be a 11-year-old girl/fae who has blue hair, white skin, wearing a robe.

Ethel walks on the symbol of Gordian Knot.

The Thunderbird beats its wings.

A flying paper airplane leads Ethel to a fourth corner.

"Now if you aren't aware the first corner is the house: Horned Serpent, the second corner is the house: Wampus, the third corner is the house: Pukwudgie , and the fourth corner is the house: Thunderbird", said Headperson Cloud. "Now, let's continue".

The first years in the hall are given their wands except the faes.

After they get their wands, they enter a dining room, and sat down.

"Let the feast begin, enjoy", said Headperson Cloud.

Food appears on the plates that are on the table.

The students smile and start eating food.

Shelby taps Fay's hand with food in his mouth stuffed.

Fay looks at Shelby and sees Shelby revealing a flying note.

The flying note lands in Fay's hand.

Fay reads 'Hi, want to be friends?'

Fay looks at Shelby and gives him a thumbs up.

Shelby smiles.

Shelby swallows his food, looks at Leos, and says "See that wasn't that hard".

"Easy for you, I am not a very social person", said Leos.

A hand taps Leos' shoulder.

Leos nearly drops his bread, then turns around to see Ethel.

"You really are a nervous wreck, if you want a friend, I can help you", Ethel offers.

"Re…really?!" Leos smiles. "But, why?"

"Because I can't stand nervous wrecks, so is that a yes or no?" Ethel explains.

Leos looks at Shelby.

Shelby nodded.

"Okay", said Leos.

"Good", said Shelby.

"So, what are you going to be to us?" Shelby asks Ethel.

"How about associate?" replied Ethel.

"Why can't you just say friend?" Fay asks Ethel.

"I don't need friends", said Ethel, coldly.

"Fine", said Fay, she eats more of her food.

"So, you just wanted to come here in order to study?" Shelby asks Ethel.

"No, I also came to socialize, I just don't want a long friendship", Ethel admitted. "No good comes from it".

"Who hurt you?" Fay asks Ethel, looking worried.

"Nobody, I just don't trust people that easily, is that so wrong?" Ethel tells Fay, looking annoyed.

"Am I annoying you?" Fay asks Ethel.

"Is it that obvious?" Ethel asks sarcastically.

"Maybe", said Fay.

"You getting my vibe?" Ethel asks Fay.

"I am, I guess it's good we are in different houses", said Fay.

"Yup", said Ethel.

Fay moves to the different side of the table.

"Sheesh, that was a little harsh", said Shelby.

Leos nodded.

"I told you I'm not looking for friendship and if I didn't make it obvious she would still push to get me to be her friend", said Ethel.

"Okay", said Shelby, then eats chicken.

The rest of the feast is silence between Fay, Shelby, Ethel, and Leos.

After the feast, Leos, Shelby, Ethel, and Fay are walking out of the hallway where they see students of their houses separated.

"Well, I guess this is it", said Leos.

"Yeah, see ya", said Ethel, then immediately walks to her group.

"Well, she wastes no time, well good night", Shelby tells Fay and Shelby.

"I don't know how well I will do", Leos admitted.

"It's okay", said Fay, then revealed a beaded necklace and put it in his hand.

"Thank you", said Leos, then smiles.

"You are welcome", said Fay, then hugs Leos and goes to her group.

Leos looks shocked, then walks to his group.

They all split up.
