Held by the waist

Before she could leave in the evening Kai called her out," Hey Abha I heard you are leaving today and taking break. Are you trying to slack your work?"

Abha cracked her fingers and whispered in his ears" Do you want a fight with me...Ohh you can't. So don't try to provoke me otherwise I will make your face like a pig. Even your mother won't recognize you. Didn't you forget the pain few days ago."

"ABHA...did you do it to take revenge? How could you do it with such a handsome and weak patient?" he spoke in a loud voice.

"Ahh...why should I sympathize you. So next time don't try to mess up with a doctor. You won't notice when you died...Anyways rest some days and don't stay most of the time on your room. I am leaving--"

"Wait wait... don't leave today. Today is my parents anniversary so stay as a guest and don't worry there isn't grand celebration but only family member gathering. Please stay." Kai tried to be soft as he could.

"Oh I haven't brought them present too...I should leave. It would be awkward for me later on"

"Don't worry about those. I will send you back early in the morning. Mom would like your presence other who would like to stop you."

"Okay fine. Let me make a call." she excused herself.

She made a call but Jay didn't pick so she sent a message saying,

'Hey Jay. Maybe you are busy so I have texted you. I can't return today but I have remembered my promise for tomorrow. I will be back the very morning.'

The message was seen but no reply came back.

The celebration was simple just like she had when Rick, she and their grandparents were together. She missed them a lot. Later there was banquet for other guests but she didn't join them and rested early.

Early morning she reached her apartment and ringed the bell on door. None opened it for a minutes, so she continued to ring.

The room opened from inside , Jay was in bathrobe and his hair was wet. He was looking so good damn gorgeous and attractive that Abha even had a urge to mess with his hair and shout out loud. Abha feet glued outside the door and continued to watch Jay.

Both didn't talk and Jay leaned his body on the door. The second tickled into minutes and both stay for five minutes.

"Have you seen me enough or do you want to stay outside ?"

Abha coughed, slowly entered and closed the door. "Umm... Jay let's leave within an hour." She rushed to her room. If she had turned her head back she would have seen a sly grin on Jay face.

After fourty five minutes both walked out of the apartment and hailed a cab to go for Gary Hill. It was a newest open for trekking.

It was only fifty kilometer far from the city. They reached two hours later at the foot of Gary Hill. Even if it was weekend not lot of people gathered. Nowadays people liked to go to crowd, parties and big shows. Who would want to do such hard activities.

Both carried their bagpacks and started their journey. As both were young they climbed a bit faster and met some older and youngster on the way. As Abha liked to travel and roam in the nature, Jay would follow her. It was unsure if he liked or not but never complained.

This time Abha had not only planned to climb the top but to reach a village on the other side of the hill. She wanted to do a medical camp there for a day so she had carried medicine and medical kits. Her bag was heavy.

Jay had noticed it but thought if she asked for help then he will help. But she didn't and carried as they were going to reach the top. As much as he had known Abha he was sure she won't ask for help until she looses all her energy or couldn't take a step.

As the height increased Abha was having difficulties to continue moving forward and breathing heavily. She was jealous that Jay acted like he was jumping and leaping. ' Am I weak or did I gain weight?' was on her mind.

Jay had noticed her situation. Sometimes he couldn't understand why she acted so tough and strong. "Abha give me your bagpack. It will be better if you can walk by yourself."saying that he picked her bag and walked.

Without the weight she could walk smoothly and even crossed the mountain. There was a river after the reach the foot of Gary Hill for them to cross and it was a bit slippery with lot of algae.

Jay first crossed the river and left the bags on the other side and went towards Abha. As Abha was trying to cross, she almost slipped but luckily Jay reached her and held her by the waist.

She was so surprised by his sudden action and then she noticed she was held in her waist. Her body was starting to burn but Jay acted as if it was normal and slowly left her waist.

"Be careful otherwise you may get hurt. Hold my hand and let's cross the river."

As Abha could speak to the nervousness she nodded her head and slowly placed her hand in his hand. It was weird feeling for her. Her heartbeat was racing and she didn't noticed that they had crossed the river.

"Okay Abha let's walk all this way maybe we will reach the village in one hour." Withdrawing his hand he spoke pointing his finger towards the east direction.

At last they reached village and first they went to the villager head house and talked about the reason for their visit. The village head was so happy for the help and told that he would gather all within half an hour.

He even provided accomodations and food to eat. Half an hour later almost all have gathered. There were only about twenty five houses in that village.

Abha started her duty as doctor and Jay acted as her assistant. Before dusk, she finished her work. The people were healthy there but for case of emergency she donated some medicines and medical kits she as well as Jay had carried and taught how to use those.

Later the evening they had simple but delicious and organic meal. They wanted to take a walk so they asked some children the places they could visit.

The next morning they continued to roam the village and after the afternoon both returned back to their apartment.

"It was a great weekend and tiring too. What about you Jay?" Abha sat on the sofa as she was hell tired.

"It was good." A reply with no emotions.

"I will take a warm shower and sleep. Please wake me after four hours."yawning she entered her room.
