Chapter 5: System store

It took some time for Allen to calm down from the excitement. He felt that he was really going to rise up this time.

He felt like starting the practice immediately, but he knew that with his current body condition, practicing without using any external material will be damaging. it's a matter of energy, physique and flexibility. He didn't even finish the body cleansing stage now. Normally, people start practicing only after body cleansing.

Taking his past body as an example, it is like a fatigued machine that can never perform strenuous actions and might even break down if it was forced to perform.

Usually, people start practicing only after completing the body cleansing.

Having said that, his situation can be considered special. As he is using a flawless grade potion specially provided by the system, he cannot just drink the complete the complete potion and finish the body cleansing at once. If he did that, he will just explode. Currently, he is in the transition stage where is neither considered as someone who doesn't practice nor as someone who completed the body cleansing.

But, going at this pace, he will have to waste a lot of time if he want to complete the body cleansing stage.

"System! Is there a way to speed up the cleansing process?"

" Ding! Yes, host. The host has to notice that the current body condition of the host is already almost equivalent to a Body cleansing stage martial artist. Just a single drop from the flawless grade potion is equivalent to a normal body cleansing potion."

"It is recommended to perform the body refining exercise right after taking in the body cleansing fluid. The effect of the medicine can be compounded by doing this and host can also increase the dosage."

Allen heaved a sigh of relief hearing that.

After resolving his doubts regarding the cleansing potion, Allen soon remembered that he didn't finish his exploration of the system store. So, he once again immersed his consciousness into the system store.

"System! please give me an introduction of the System store."

"Ding! Yes, Host"

" The system store sells items from myriad realms. Currently, as the system level is low, only the first level of the system store can be activated. The first level currently sells three kinds of items and when the host meets special conditions, hidden kinds will be unlocked. Many of the items in the store require special conditions or achievements to be purchased."

"The first kind of items are items related to the knowledge and techniques of the professions."

"Martial arts techniques, Secret techniques, Rune techniques, Alchemy techniques, Blacksmith techniques, Beast master techniques, formations and various other professions. As the host has limited experience, there are many professions which are out of host's imagination and they will be revealed when the required conditions are met and the corresponding knowledge will appear in the system store"

"The second kind of items include attack, defense, auxiliary treasures related to myriad professions"

"The third kind is virtual experience cards. They are very helpful in mastering different techniques. They exist in different levels and are sold at different prices. The Grandmaster level virtual experience card gained by the host is an example of this kind. "

"In addition to these three kinds of items, there is a weekly store in which items will be refreshed every week and they will be sold at a discounted price. The items can also be refreshed forcefully by paying an appropriate price. Note that the items in the weekly store include the items from the higher levels of the store though the probability of items from upper level of the store is very low."

"Ding! The host can now view the items in the store."

Immediately after that, the vision in front of Allen is distorted and his consciousness suddenly appeared inside a wooden building with an archaic atmosphere. looking at the walls, they gave the feeling that they existed from times immemorial.

He could only observe a portion of the room about the size of his bed room and rest of the space was obscured by thick white fog and his consciousness was immediately bounced back when he tried to observe it.

In the center of the room, there is small white tree the size of a basketball floating there in the air. when his consciousness touched it, he immediately understood that this was the tree of knowledge where he could purchase different knowledge and techniques related to his professions. the leaves and the branches contains corresponding knowledge like in games.

On the left side of the tree, there is a game treasure chest outlined by gold and silver lines. Without even observing, he could understand that this should be the the place where he could exchange treasures.

On the right side of the tree, there is a big flashy card the size of a notebook continuously flashing with rainbow colors as if seeking attention from everyone. without saying, this should be the place where he could exchange virtual experience cards.

He tried immersing his consciousness into the knowledge tree and he could immediately browse though the various various leaves. Most of the leaves are bound by chains with a lock on them which indicated their locked status.

Looking at the leaves which are unlocked, all of them are related to martial arts and they are currently grey which indicated his current pauper status. He could see many common martial arts which are popular in the market like the Iron palm, Rock punch, Dancing footsteps etc..,

They are priced at 10, 10 and 20 Energy points respectively. There are even the options for improving the martial arts by correcting the mistakes inherent in them. though this costs even more energy points.

"System! what are the energy points and how can I earn them?"

"Ding! The host must remember that this system has a function of energy conversion. The system has a Energy conversion Formation and can disintegrate matter into energy and provide the host with energy points."

"An average adult human contains who does not practice martial arts contains an energy of 0.05-0.1 EP (energy points) in the body. A martial artist in the body refining realm normally consists of 0.1-10 EP ."
