Chapter 4: The system store and the Birthday gift

After the end of morning classes, just as Allen wanted to explore more about the system functions, many of his friends came to wish him.

Even though he was surprised about their awareness of the the occasion, he was happy to receive their wishes.

Shortly after wishing him, everyone dispersed except 2 people.

One is a tall girl with a waist long black hair with a pretty face. The most distinguishing things about her is her eyes which are like black gems.

Her name is Monica and she has many suitors in the school but she loves Randal who is next to her.

Randal is a tall muscular hunk who almost looks like an adult. His complexion is a bit dark but he has a great personality and can be considered a genius in this small town.

Allen met him two years ago when they became classmates and they became good friends.

As for Monica, she is an intelligent girl and is the only one who can compete with Allen in cultural studies in the entire class.

Looking at Allen in front of her, Monica asked suspiciously, " What happened to you Allen? it's only been 2 days since we last met but you look much better."

By the side, Randal quickly agreed, " Now that you said it. He really looks much better."

Hearing them say this, Allen could only act dumb and said, " Really? Even i feel the same. I don't know what happened but I feel very refreshed. Even mother was mentioning the same thing in the morning."

Having said that, Allen knew that the changes in him had just started and they will be more and more abnormal changes to him in the future. He had to quickly think of something so that people will not be spooked.

Leaving it at that, Allen hurriedly changed the topic and invited both of them to celebrate his birthday together with his family.

After lunch, most of the classes deal with Physical fitness and Martial arts. In the past, he couldn't participate in the physical activities due to his weak body and spent mostly of the time honing his cultural subjects.

Now, even though he could participate in the classes, he decided to wait and give people some time to adapt to his changes.

People may think he is paranoid but he thinks that it is better to hide his edge and quietly develop until he has the strength to protect himself and find a good enough reason for his possible changes.

After everyone in the class was away for the physical education classes, Allen was alone in the classroom and quickly thought of the system.

Thinking about it, he first opened the system store so as to get an idea about the products that are available in the system and what is the currency.

"Ding! Congratulations host! The system prepared a birthday gift for you. Consider this as the compensation for the weakness in the host's body for the last 2 years."

Following this sound, in front of Allen, there was a change in the background. there were fireworks in the starry sky followed by a cake of about 1 meter high. suddenly, the cake started expanding like a balloon and suddenly burst open.

There were 2 items in front of him which were isolated by a bubble.

Allen stretched his hand and touched the first bubble and soon, there was a string of information in his brain.

" Ding! congratulation host! you got the ' Enhanced body refining exercise' . This exercise is based on the body refining exercise and enhanced and improved by the system."

" Practicing this method can provide the host with multiple benefits compared to the currently used method. It enhances the strength by more than twice, refining of the body will be more complete and doesn't leave any sequalae. The host must remember that to become a powerhouse, having a strong foundation is the first step"

After understanding the content, Allen was soon over the moon. Initially, he was still very worried about his admission and this exercise made him a lot more confident. Next, he moved his hands on to the second bubble with much anticipation.

"Ding! Congratulations host! You got the Grandmaster level virtual experience card for the Enhanced body refining exercise.

Number of uses remaining: 100/100 "

The second reward made Allen almost pop his eyes out.

He knows that the same exercise will be performed by different people in different ways. If not, there is no need for a teachers anymore. People can just study by themselves.

Most of the times, people who can perform the exercises with 70% similarity to the original exercise can be said to have learnt the exercise. This is called entry level and most people can only perform up to this level and effect of this kind of performance is normal.

Going up, 85% similarity is considered proficient. 95% similarity is Mastery and 99% is Grandmaster.

In general, for a simple exercise like body reining exercise, If someone can be proficient (90%), he is considered talented. with some guidance, this can be achieved.

As for mastery(95%), most of the people at this stage are either young geniuses or old people who polished this exercise repeatedly for a long time.

As for a Grandmaster(99%), may be not even one in a million can achieve that. The level of control required for this is insane. Every muscle, every bone, every single movement should be a close to the original for the whole span of exercise to achieve that. Only very rare geniuses can achieve that or it can also be said that any person who can achieve the Grandmaster level can become a genius by virtue of the efficiency of the technique at the grandmaster level.

If we make comparison, if a Grandmaster level practice can give a yield of 125, mastery will be 25, proficient will be 5 and entry level will be 1.

Allen knew that what he lacked the most now is time and the birthday gift from the system directly resolved it. He felt that this the most valuable birthday gift he had ever received in his life.
