Leander was sitting by her hurt foot and was about to apply ointment on her wound. He must have already cleaned her wound. The smell of medicine alerted her senses. She blinked her eyes. Her foot tickled as he grabbed her foot.
She wanted to look at his face. But she couldn't as tears clouded her eyes.
He still cares for me!
She knew he accidentally hurt her foot. He must have felt bad for it and is now taking care of the wound. She couldn't control her glee and she cried in happiness.
He was holding her foot so gently and applying the ointment so softly so as not to hurt her unnecessarily. He was blowing on her wound while applying the ointment.
She was so touched. She felt the urge to jump on him and hug him. But she feared to do that. The last time he saw her tears, he was irked. Although she was crying out of happiness, she didn't want to annoy him by showing him her tears.
