Seungmin's POV

I opened my eyes and saw an unfamiliar room...

Where am I?

"Seungmin, are you okay?" Chan asked who's beside me

"I am fine" I answered and looked around "Where are we? What happened?"

"We are at Kanao Kingdom. The leader of the werewolves helped us. He also killed the three werewolves that attacked us" Chan answered

"Where are the others?"

"They are already awake, only you and Kali are still unconscious-" Chan

"Kali? What happened to Kali? How is she?"

"She was bitten by Briguel and almost died, luckily, she survived and we are waiting for her to wake up. How about you? What are you feeling?" Chan

"Much better"

"Excuse me, Goddess Rokolite wants you to join the lunch with her" the royal maid said as she opened the door

"We will go there" Chan smiled at her

"Let's go. The others maybe waiting for us" I said and stood up

Chan and I went to the dining room. As we entered we saw the others except for Kali who's still unconscious. We both vowed and sat with them.

"Eat as many as you can. You all need to gain your strength" Goddess Rokolite smiled at us and suddenly looked at me "How are you?"

"I-I am much better"

"That's good to hear. You almost died" Goddess Rokolite

"What do you mean?" Jisung asked

"If only Kali didn't told Jeongin about you, we don't have any idea what will happen" Goddess Rokolite

"While we're on our way here. Kali gained her strength and woke up to tell me about Seungmin's condition. She said to make it fast because Seungmin will die if it will take longer. She also told me about the humming ghost that is haunting Seungmin" Jeongin explained

"I feel so happy seeing Kali cares for you all. She always think of others and not herself" Goddess Rokolite smiled

"How is she?" Princess Maya asked

"She's struggling between death or survive" Goddess Rokolite

"What do you mean?" Jeongin asked

"Let's not talk about that. We should eat and wait for her to wake up" Goddess Rokolite said and started eating

They all started eating except for Princess Maya who's now staring at her food. She needs to eat.

"Princess, you need to eat" Jeongin said

"Huh?" Goddess Rokolite looked at Jeongin "Princess? Who?"

"I hope you won't tell anyone about this, your highness. She's Princess Maya" Jeongin said referring to Maya

"S-She is the princess?" Goddess Rokolite looks so shocked

"Yes, something wrong?" Felix asked

"C-Can I talk to you, your highness?" Princess Maya asked

"Yes, I need to talk to you also" Goddess Rokolite said

They both left us in the dining room and went outside.

"How are you, Seungmin? Do you feel better now?" Jeongin asked

"Yes, much better. Excuse me" I vowed and left the dining room

I started walking towards Kali's room. I am not hungry, I will only eat if Kali is okay or awake. I slightly opened the door and saw Goddess Rokolite with Princess Maya.

"So, you mean you are not the princess?" Goddess Rokolite

What? Maya is not the princess?

"Yes, Kali told me to pretend. If they find out about her, they will probably protect her rather than obey her orders" Maya said

"What? I don't understand. Why would Kali tell you to pretend? What's the reason? She shouldn't tell anyone to pretend or what" Goddess Rokolite

"I don't know if I should this but..." Maya stopped talking and sighed as she looked at her "Kali is the hidden princess"

"K-Kali? Wait- I can't" Goddess Rokolite

"Yes, she is the princess. She doesn't want them to know about her" Maya said

I quickly ran to the dining room and sat quietly like I didn't heard anything from them. Why doesn't she wants us to know? What's her reason? She should be the one we are protecting instead of Maya. Maybe...

She told Maya to pretend so we will protect Maya instead of her? Because Maya doesn't have any power unlike her. Kali is strong and she will protect us instead of protecting her. But-

"Are you okay, Seungmin?" Hyunjin asked

If Felix doesn't like Kali and he only likes the princess. That means he will like Kali again? I am worried the most with Jeongin. He will feel betrayed and will feel like a fool if he will know about this.

"Seungmin?" Changbin

"Huh?"

"Are you okay? We are calling you but you are staring out of nowhere" Changbin

"Yes"

Goddess Rokolite and Maya came back and sat on their seats. I sighed, I can't ask them. If they will knew, they will have to control me. I continued eating and acted normal so no one will notice.

Hours passed, we finished eating our lunch. I quickly went to Kali's room right away. She's still unconscious, and she has the worst condition from all of us. She was bitten by Briguel and I can see the big wound.

"Are you really the princess?" I whispered as I looked at her

The door opened and Jeongin entered. He closed the door and went beside me. He also stares at Kali.

"I never imagine she will be in danger, because I know she's strong and she can easily defeat them" Jeongin sighed

"She even used her remaining energy to tell you about my condition. She's so selfless..."

"That's her. She wants to take care of others instead of herself. No wonder a lot of people know her" Jeongin held her hand tight and his tears started falling "K-Kali, wake up, will you? We need to finish the mission" his voice cracked

"Let's go" I said and started walking towards the door

"S-Seungmin! Look!" Jeongin said

I looked at Kali and she started glowing "W-What did you do?"

"I didn't do anything!" Jeongin answered and ran to me

What the hell is happening...
