Face Off

As Brume's car arrived at the gate, he got down from the car before the gate was opened and walked into the compound with Nkechi. She tried to hold his hand, but he instead put them in his pocket and walked past the security at the gate without responding to his greetings.

"He has had a very busy day," said one of the bodyguards who followed behind immediately after Brume got down. "Let him have some time alone, he will come around," he said to Nkechi.

Brume turned around when he got to the door and noticed Nkechi was still standing at the gate and had refused to move. He knew why she was still there, she felt he ignored her and didn't want to talk to her.

"Your actions caused a lot today, and if you keep acting like this, you are only going to make things worse," said Brume.

"I apologised for it, but you have refused to accept my apologies," she responded.
