"Representative?" He asked,

"You don't need to think hard of it, just imagine yourself as the leader of your year, you'll attend meetings, some little activities, and the fun part a battle royal"

Explaining his offer, Trevor gave Rust the file, in which a contract is written. Rust skims through its pages but reads carefully when he sees the section where he is obliged to showcase his skills against other schools.

"Battle royal, you mean like I need to fight against another academy?" He said, clarifying its content,

Trevor gave out a small grin, he looked at Rust deeply, as if he can see an amusement soon unfold in his very eyes,

He restrained himself not to reveal too much in front of Rust,

"Looks like I'll be late for my next meeting, I'll be back, I hope to get you an answer by then," he stood up and left, but took a last glance towards Rust before leaving the detention room.

(Ah~, I just can't wait, everything is in place)

Trevor left with a wide grin on his face.

Lucas is laying on his bed alone, his eyes gaze towards the ceiling but his mind is nowhere near him,

"Why doesn't he want help from his family? Ah... Screw this, if he doesn't want help from them then I'll help him"

He stood up and called out a name. "Yuri!"

"Young Master, you called"

From his shadow a black hooded warrior appeared, its body emitting nothing but its eyes as deep as the blue sea, it kneeled before Lucas.

"Yuri, go and examine the corpse, the one that Rustain Azital fought a few days ago, report back after,"

Lucas stood up and dressed in all black, he wore tight clothes and shoes that didn't emit a single sound.

"How about the master"

"I'll be fine, I'll do something else, return at nightfall"

The shadow bowed and slowly faded away, it replied.

"Understood!"

Lucas continued to prepare himself, after making sure no one would notice him leaving his room he departed.

Passing through his window he leaps up and landing on top of the roof, he immediately sprints away, jumping roof to roof. He continued this until he landed on the highest infrastructure in the school.

Scanning the area he began to note where the guard's rotation is because he aims to infiltrate is the school's disciplinary building,

A place where all of the school's affairs relating to violence, breaching school rules, and most of all the files relating to Rust's case are all located inside.

Lucas stayed on guard observing, hours passed and he noticed the guards is shifting, among their rotation,

Making sure no one would see him he immediately entered the building, entering through the window he arrived at an office, there's no one inside so he decided to look around.

"Where am I? Wait... this is?"

Lucas saw the files, <Rustain Azital>

Inside he saw the name of the officer handling the case, he further skimmed through its pages,

he stopped

At one section of the file <Autopsy/Evidence>, he saw pictures of the victim's body, ripped limbs, he was mortified by what he saw and almost vomited.

In the section below it, he read a description.

: cause of death, carbon dioxide inhalation, victim's body suffered a three-degree burn.

: the body has a total of 59 wounds after death, 38 stabs and 21 slashes, the body is missing the following.

"Crap! Who would do something like this? That guy was a jerk, but this is too much"

Lucas flipped through the pages and saw a picture, a photo of Rust and Gonduzianberge.

Lucas took the photo and meticulously looked for things he could use to clear his friend's name.

As he investigates the photo he noticed a slight familiar feeling to it,

"This place where the photo was taken, it looks familiar, huh?!"

Lucas instantly notices two people approaching the door, he takes the photo, returns the files in place, and immediately runs towards the window where they came in.

"Hey who's there!!"

Lucas was discovered, without hesitation, he jumped down the building,

"Catch that thief!!"

The guards instantly responded and chased Lucas,

The guards tried to catch him but it was too late, he was able to leave through the window leaving no trace for them to find.

*huff, huff, puff*

"They almost got me, I almost got caught, Rust you better treat me dinner"

Lucas arrived back in his dorm safely, after disposing of his clothes he went to his bed and took out the photo he got from the disciplinary dept.

He was looking at it carefully when suddenly the guards came knocking on his door.

*knock, knock, knock*

He immediately hides the photo and proceeds to walk towards the door.

"Sir, this is the security please open up"

Nervous thinking if somehow he was caught, Lucas prepared a metal bat near him.

He opened the door and smiled towards the guards.

"Yes, what do you need?" he said with dignity.

The guards immediately recognized Lucas, his golden hair and blue eyes, gave him away.

"D-Duke of the south, apologies for the sudden visit,"

Lucas was caught off guard by what the guard said, he contemplates and realized that he forgot to use his brown contact lense,

Blue eyes are a unique feature of his family, he hated that fact and tried to hide it but right now he forgot this.

(Ah, crap, I was in a hurry I forgot to conceal my eye color)

He immediately thinks to shake the guards off, and the best solution is to scare them.

"Don't call me that, are you cursing my father?"

"N-No, no sir, we are only tasked, anyway sorry to disturb you, will be on our way"

The guards left immediately after.

(I guess having my father as a duke has its perks, )

Lucas returned to his bed, what happened today took a lot of his mental stamina.

Exhausted, rolling on his bed Yuri appeared through his shadow on time.

"Young master, I have done what you order me, this is my repo-"

"Tell me that tomorrow, I'm ti~~red"

Lucas fell asleep immediately, all his servant could do was sigh.

"Really now, master?"
