Chapter 133

RATE AND REVIEW

Edward stared as Ariana walked into the kitchen and he couldn't blame her, she was right. He never tried to be a good father because if he did, his daughter's life wouldn't be a mess. He wouldn't have let his pride get the best of him when Elizabeth took her away.

He decided to make it all up to her, she'd always wanted a happy family and he would give it to her, even though she had to get her life long dream few months to her death.

He took his phone and rushed out of the house to go meet someone who would help him.

Ariana watched him leave, " classic dad" she muttered to herself

The next day, Ariana walked out of the restroom and was about going to her bed when Mariana rushed in.

" Ariana, come downstairs now, it's really important" Mariana said, elated

" What's so important?" Ariana asked as Mariana dragged her down the stairs.

Immediately she got down, her jaw dropped as she stared in awe as how the whole sitting room had being decorated with pictures of Ashley and Edward in romantic positions.

She saw a troop of musicians, some with violins, others with guitars, others with trumpets and the rest, they were with saxophones.

" What's going on here?" She asked.

" You'll see soon" Mariana said with a smile on her face.

" Where are you taking me Miranda" Ashley asked, blindfolded as Mrs Lambert led her down the stairs.

" Come on, " Mariana said and led Ariana to one of the chairs where they hid.

" Hey" Casey whispered.

" What are you doing here? You're supposed to be resting"

" I know, I just wanted to see how it goes" 

" What are you even talking about? "

" Shhhhhh" 

Immediately Ashley got down, Mrs Lambert rushed and hid behind the chairs.

Ashley took off the blind fold and immediately she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Edward. He was on his knees and he had a ring in his hand.

" Ashley, will you marry me? Will you accept me again? Will you let me love and give you all the attention you need? Will you let me be your husband? " Edward asked and Ariana smiled, this had being her life long dream and her dad was finally fulfilling it.

" Thanks dad" she muttered under her breathe

" Of course I will, I'll marry you" Ashley said happily and Edward slid the ring into her finger. He got up and hugged her tightly before kissing her.

Immediately they shared a kiss, the instrumentalists started playing a romantic song and everyone got out of their hiding spots.

" Congratulations" Ariana said happily before going to hug both parents.

" Thank you so much"

" I got flowers" Raymond said and walked into the room.

" You're here" Ariana said happily.

" Of course I am" he said and congratulated Edward and Ashley.

" So when's the wedding?" Casey asked.

" Tomorrow" Ariana said and everyone burst into laughter " I'm serious, they should get married tomorrow"

" I think Becky's right. We'll get married two days from now" Edward said.

" Yay" Ariana squeaked " we need to start making preparations"

" Yes you're right. I'll start" Mrs Lambert said and left.

" Me too" Ariana said happily.

Ariana happily rushed around the house making preparations.

" Thank you Edward" Ashley said.

" There's no need to thank me. I only did it to make my little girl happy" Edward said.

Preparations for the wedding continued and Ariana was the happiest. Edward and Ashley got married and were about leaving when they suddenly received bad news.

" I'm so happy for you" Ariana squeaked as they got into the car.

" This is like the hundredth time you're saying this" Mrs Lambert said.

" And so? I have to show my happiness" Ariana said and the driver started the car.

" Don't listen to her Mrs Lambert. She acts like a kid most of the time" Raymond said.

" Oh really? Then teach me how to act like a grownup...... Mr grownup" she said, emphasizing more on Mr grownup.

" It's good you acknowledge the fact that I'm a grown up" Raymond teased. Ariana was about to talk back when Edward stopped them,

"Enough already" Edward said. He was about to say something else when his phone suddenly started ringing.

" Who's it?" Ashley asked.

" It's inspector George. I'll see what he wants" Edward said and picked up " hello inspector" he said with a smile on her face.

" Mr Edward, I'm calling to warn you" George said.

" Warn me? Why?" He was confused.

" It's Elizabeth Wilson. She's escaped from the prison during a jail break and we've been informed that she made away with a lot of weapons" he said and Edward's jaw dropped in shock.

" What do you mean by that? How could you have let her escape?" He asked angrily.

" We're sorry sir, One of our officers was actually working for them but not to worry, we'll be sending a team to protect you. Just stay indoors and my team will be there soon" inspector George said.

" Alright, thanks" Edward said and hung up 

" What's wrong?" Casey asked.

" There's bad news. Elizabeth's escaped from jail with a lot of weapons" Edward said.

" Oh my goodness, we have to get in and lock the doors" Mrs Lambert said.

" Yes. Driver, drive faster" Edward said and the driver drove faster.

After some time, they arrived home. They got In and locked all the doors. Mrs Lambert took all the keys and kept them in a vase.

" Phew! That's a relief" Mrs Lambert said.

" That's what you think" a voice said.

Everyone turned to see who spoke and that was it, they saw Elizabeth with some women, weapons loaded.

" Hello all" she said with an evil grin on her face.
