Chapter 22: Accidental Meeting

(Author: Panda's answer from Panda's question last chapter is "Emptiness". There always will be a time when you will feel empty after achieving, gaining and satisfaction. After Emptiness comes an Ambition or an Obsession at least that is what Panda is planning...Seiya is currently near the starting phase of emptiness. Seiya went back to the hotel he is staying since his home was not close to Broadway, it would take half a day of driving to go back in San Diego where his home and office was but running in his peak attributes will make a huge difference since it will only take 20 minutes. So while he was watching an American show, he called the room service for his dinner. He ordered 2 steaks with Mushroom Soup and 2 Fish and Chips, he wanted to laze around for a while as being a chief of the field investigation unit seems to be tiring cause of the responsibility and monitoring, but because of his physique, his spiritual and physical energy is super strong while he also has a very fast recovery. But he limits his work into an average chief worker since it would cause suspicion to the higher ups.

This won't give him a problem but it would cause him a headache when cutting loose ends, it took 30 minutes before a knock on the door was heard. He opened the door and saw the dinner that he ordered, he gave the hotel staff a tip before closing the door. Luckily their room service is quite nice and the food they cook is \fresh out of the kitchen. Seiya began to devour his meal as he continued to watch the American Show called Friends. He watched a whole episode before going down the hotel using the elevator, he was thinking of doing a light exercise. But who knew when the elevator opened. A familiar acquaintance walks in while holding her right stomach.

Vermouth who got shot by Akai Shuichi was weakening, although as a killer. She could hold it for a while. But who knew the bullet was filled with an poison drug that made Vermouth's body slowly feel paralyze as she accidently fell onto Seiya's arms, She smelled a reminiscing scent, which made her eyes looks towards Seiya who had a serious expression. She knew who he was because she always keeps in check with Mamako who would inform her about Seiya which includes growing up pictures, her eyes were filled with complex emotion as she stared at Seiya who ask her while taking out a handkerchief to pressure the wound.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"No..."

She muttered as she slowly close her eyes, although she was in a dangerous situation. But because of Seiya's scent, she felt safe as her arms were slowly clinging onto his neck like a sloth holding onto a tree, he couldn't help but sigh as he carried Vermouth's body like a princess carry while maintaining a position that would stop the bleeding. He went back to his room, since he knew that this moment should be when the FBI are close by as they try to find the Vermouth, although she is a bad guy. She has always been good to him when he was 1 to 4 years old and would give out advance books and gifts.

Also he has suck her boobs before when he was a kid, which was an exciting thing for him because she is one of the most beautiful character in the anime. Seiya placed her into the bed as he swiftly removed her arm from his neck, he said.

"Although I don't know how you got shot, but as a doctor. It is my duty to cure people."

Seiya isn't like Conan who would follow a some dead principle, he mostly use this excuse when he is needed to perform surgery even if its for the poor. He has seen the happiness and sadness in the hospital, he was already numb to the point he became like a cold and indifferent existence to others while also being warm to children and women. Seiya tore the T-shirt that Vermouth was wearing as he saw the bullet hole.

Vermouth who lose the physical touch with Seiya frowned as she slowly opened her eyes and saw Seiya taking out anesthetic and his medical kit. Although he became a Chief of Field Investigation Unit, he never stop carrying his medical kit as he still a professional psychiatrist that does surgery. Seiya spoke with a serious tone.

"Great your still consciousness, now I'm about to do a poisonous bullet removal operation. I need you to stay awake or else something bad might happen."

Vermouth weakly nodded as she felt relax knowing that Seiya will do the emergency operation, Seiya seeing Vermouth cooperating, began to pour the anesthetic liquid onto the surface of the skin. He used a disposable towel to absorb the blood leaking from the wound as he carefully stared at the hole, his eyesight and insight made him analyze where the bullet is stuck or located. After a second, Seiya spoke while preparing to use a disposable scalpel to widen the bullet hole.

"I'm about to begin, Persist for moment. It will only take a few minutes."

Seiya started the operation by widening the bullet hole in the right side of the stomach as the thin fat layer and injured muscle could be seen, Seiya frowned as he saw the bullet hitting the large intestine. The color of the large intestine was purple which shows that the poison was spreading into the organs, he immediately took out the poisonous bullet while using cotton to absorb the poison that could be absorb. Vermouth gritted her teeth as she carefully stared at Seiya's serious expression, there were a lot of emotions roaming inside her head but one major thing that she felt was relief and comfort.

Seiya saw Vermouth getting distracted, he begins his secret plan. Another additional effect that he learned from his physique is that he can 100% perfectly control his body which means he can let his nails grow longer, his body taller and etc. He weakened the defense of his skin so that he can pierce a little hole from his palm, he wanted to use at least a very small drop of blood which can cure all sickness while promoting recovery and regeneration. Vermouth didn't notice this but she felt a little better like her body could finally regain a small amount of movement.

Seiya was shock in the inside while his outer expression was serious as he saw what a small drop of blood can do, Vermouth's stomach muscle that was cut by his disposable scalpel began to recover like it was stitching itself back as the large intestine began to go back to it's healthy color, Seiya seeing this immediately did a complex suture that would make an excuse for her not to do big movements. This poisonous bullet removal operation only took 5 minutes as Seiya spoke while he acted relief, he put all the bloody things onto a bucket while the disposable things onto a plastic bag.

"The operation was a success, all you need is to rest for a couple of weeks and drink a lot of fluids."

Vermouth who was mentally tired felt more control of her body, she suddenly stretch her arm as she pulled Seiya onto the bed, although Seiya didn't know why she did this. He didn't resist as he looks up and saw Vermouth's eyes closed, she has fallen asleep without knowing that her body unconsciously grabs the body who has the reminiscing smell that she missed which made her feel comfort, relax and free.
