Refining(1)

It was the first day of him training to refine his skills, currently he was searching for an armored bear to fight…a few minutes later he found one just outside a cave keeping watch, Akuma assumed it was protecting it's home, since it was on guard their was no point in trying to sneak attack it, he slowly walked in front of it, the bear noticing him quickly got up and turned hostile towards him, Akuma dashed towards the bear and slashed at its chest, the bear is relatively slow but had high defense so the attack left only a long cut on it's body, once he landed the attack he jumped back in case the bear attacked him while he was close, Akuma wanting to make the best out of every fight used every skill he could use to grow accustom to it and be able to adjust the power better

First he used [Soul Strikes] freely in way he had never done before, he tried using it to go fast enough to create illusions in front of his enemy, sure enough it worked, it looked as if their were multiple scythes heading towards the bear, the bear being non intelligent only made the illusion work better, it started slashing at every different direction without looking, this gave Akuma the chance to dash behind it and slash down, this time though he wanted to test an experiment, he sent Qi throughout the scythe to see if it would affect the attack in anyway, as soon as he did something he never thought would happen occurred, the bear was completely cut in half cleanly at that

He walked towards it and looked down, blood was everywhere 1 half of its body fell to the left while the other half fell to the right, he placed one hand on a body part and absorbed its soul, but this time he put it into his core, he didn't want to break through yet, he was going to collect souls and break through all at once he wanted too see what level of power he would jump too, once he put it inside his core he went searching for another bear, he noticed that they are usually in grassy areas so thats where he would head too, about 3 minutes later he found one eating a carcasses of a earth wolf, he attacked it without alerting it, he sent a [Soul Claw] towards it that immediately damages its soul and started doing residual damage, the bear started rampaging every where wanting to find the attacker

It was useless it died before he could even find a trace, Akuma jumped off from a tree and placed his hand on its body and put the soul inside his core, he kept repeating this process for the next few hours.. it was around 3:00 in the after noon and he had 8 souls inside his core, he rested for about 30 minutes before he went back out, just like all the other times he was using all the skills he had on the bears to refine them… eventually [Soul Fire Shot], had somewhat evolved it shot out more compressed power and it got even faster, the color had also turned black, and it did more damage to the soul, this was a great asset to him because he killed his enemies quicker…he kept going until it was 8:00 at night and he had gotten 16 souls, he climbed on a tall tree to eat food, he had brought a bag to hold all of the stuff in it, he ate and planned to sleep atop of the tree he was on until the next day
