Chapter Six:Devil Within!

"Haha!" The bald man laughed laughed. "Kids..these day's.. are.. something special" he spoke while holding back his laughter. "Truly facinating!" The village elder remarked sarcastically. The two were busy having a conversation while enjoying a hot cup of tea. The village elder looked into the [Snow Forest] with a worried expression "Is she going to be okay?" He asked the bald man. The bald man followed his gaze and reassured the village elder "Don't worry about it this is the lowest Dungeon Field in the area, she'll be fine!" The village elder couldn't shake away the feeling that something terrible was about to happen.

Amelia stood there shocked. She couldn't see the rabbit's movement's and that led her to beign injured badly. She glanced at her at her fur coat and saw it was stained red with blood. Her blood. Her right arm had been slashed terribly the wounds visible through the slashed fabric of her jacket, Amelia only had option left to turn to....

'RUN!'

She quickly dashed into the woods trying to lose the white critter, but the white rabbit wouldn't let it's prey escape so easily. She quickly hid behind a tree trying to catch her breath, she held her bleeding arm trying to numb the pain. She looked back trying to keep her eyes on the white rabbit, it was gone? Amelia looked over at the path she ran, her blood was dripping all the way.

'Crap!,Crap!,Crap! Not good!'

Her situation wasn't good, she needed to flee, this was too dangerous! But the blood created a trail and will continue to create a trail the more she moved. She needed to formulate a plan quickly!

*BASH*

The snow rabbit tackled the tree Amelia was hiding from. The force caused her to fall to the ground, she looked at the white rabbit helplessly as it approached her slowly.

'NO!! THIS CAN'T BE HOW IT ENDS I WON'T LET YOU KILL ME SO EASILY!!'

Something snapped inside Amelia's mind, she felt anger course through her body, the adrenaline empowering her once more. She stood up from the pile of snow now coloured red because of her blood, she glutched the dagger tightly and her body began to leak an azure blue glow.

'If you seriously think I'm gonna go down so easily then you're dead wrong!'

Her eyes glowed with a majestic blue light, she stared at her opponent with murderous intent. The white snow rabbit quickly rushed foward and tried to claw at Amelia, but she moved to the side and kicked the rabbit to the sky.

*WHAM!!*

She wasn't done yet, her hand grabbed the rabbit by the neck in mid-air and tightly began to squeeze the life out of it.

*TIGHT GRABBING SOUND*

"Oh! How they tables have turned! You really thought you could kill me!? How ridiculous!"

Amelia closed her eyes and began to concentrate.

A blue light began to glow around Amelia's dagger. When the light faded the dagger she held had a blue outline to it, she asked the system for its statistics.

A smirk grew on Amelia's face. 10% doesn't seem like alot right now but she knew it will become stronger in the future. She gripped her dagger tightly and looked toward the snow rabbit! She felt a bit of pity towards the snow rabbbit as it continued to sprawl around in her tight grasp.

'Let's see how you like being hurt!'

*STAB*

The dagger was forcefully thrust in the snow rabbit's stomach. Blood began to pour from its wound and Amelia dropped the rabbit to the ground. Amelia watched as the rabbit continued to fight for its life but in vain, the rabbit soon succumbed to its wound and perished.

Amelia felt her body surge with energy, a fierce blue light swirling around her soon subsidised. She felt her wounds beign healed and felt rejuvenated, she called for the system and it showed her status.

'Let's use these Stat Points' She began distributing her points through out her stats. [Strength:3],[Defense:4] and [Agility:6] she had use 2 Stat points for each of her 3 Attributes. She felt her power rise, her skin became a bit harder and her legs grew stronger.

'Ahhhh yes this is blissssss!'

Amelia then knelt and began to search the Snow rabbit's corpse in for of a Mana stone. She found a small crystal that had a small blue glow, this was it, the Mana stone. Amelia wanted to absorb it straight away but kept herself from doing so after all she's being tested.

'1 down 9 more to go.'

*Bush Sounds*

Amelia turned her attention to the bush noises, out of it came more little Snow rabbits, their hunger visible as their drool would leak out of their mouths. Did they get attracted to the dead Snow rabbit's corpse? She asked herself. The Snow Rabbits began to charge at Amelia with her doing the same.

*SLASH! SLASH SLASH!*

Amelia began to easily cut through the snow rabbits. A maniacal grin plastered on her face as she continued cutting them down.

Amelia stood there silent her fur coat covered in the blood of her enemies. Dead Snow rabbit's corpses laid everywhere, she had leveled up and her dagger mastery had leveled up too. A small smile formed on Amelia's face, just a few minutes ago she was struggling against a Snow rabbbit now they're nothing but mere playthings to her. Amelia Picked up the Mana Stones and stuffed them in her pockets and began to head back to the village elder and the bald man.

The Old man and the Village elder were conversing happily to each other, cracking jokes and telling stories a friendship quickly formed between the two.

The Village elder begin to sip his cup of coffee but quickly spatted out! Upon seeign Amelia The bald man was confused as to why he did that and followed his gaze. "A-amelia are you okay?" The village elder asked as he rushed by her side

"I'm okay!" Amelia said as she let out a genuine smile. She began approaching the bald man and took out the Mana stones, she held them in her hands and smiled happily. "It's time for you to hand over your end of the bargain!" Amelia said in her icy tone again. The bald man's face lightened up, he was quite suprised that she finished the task so quickly, he let out a small smile and patted Amelia's head. "Well done kid!" He said as he continued to ruffle Amelia's head.

He then proceeded to take out his tablet and began to press some buttons. A small suitcase was then handed over to Amelia, she didn't waste anytime and quickly opened it. There were the two Mana Stones inside, they had a brighter glow of blue and were slightly larger than the ones Amelia had collected. She closed the suitcase and sighed a breath of relief, she will finally be able to start absorbing some Mana crystals. But she decided that it would probably be best to do it when she was at home. "Get in let's get you home." The bald man said. Amelia immediately dashed into the black mobile and they returned back to the village.
